Anti-GG tried to convince David Draiman that supporting GG was wrong. A couple of failed attempts later, the accusations of him being a racist started flying. It didn't even take a full day for the false accusations to appear this time. People are afraid to support #GamerGate because of these things, yet we're accused of being the ones creating a climate of fear. EDIT: David Pakman has released another video on allegations made against him as well. He's not even pro-GG, he's just asking questions. It's ridiculous. You only have to question the status quo to be labeled as a harasser.

A friend of mine is going to work for an awesome animation studio, and while I'm excited for him I also feel extremely jealous despite the fact that jealousy is unproductive. Stupid feelings not working in accordance with rationality.

I've mentioned before how I really dislike that parts of #GamerGate (even some of this thread) has entrenched and really became its own hugbox (the accusations that AbleGamers faked its own DDoS come to mind, #GamerGate can be incredibly paranoid). It's not good for debate, education, progress and the democratic process to live in echo-chambers. The upside is that #GamerGate often changes figureheads, so the whole thing tends to be shook up relatively often. I can say with certainty that the current iteration of #GamerGate is not even close to being how it started, and ironically the movement has become more concerned with social justice than its opponents are, but they prefer celebrating the good rather than shaming the bad. The response to Roberta Williams getting a video game award was beautiful. EDIT: Goddammit TN, you know the difference between it's and its. Pay attention to what you write!

I find it interesting that #GamerGate is accused of wanting to censor non-standard voices when nobody is able to speak against its detractors without worrying about death theats.
