You should really update your drivers. Not only for your graphics card, but also for your motherboard and chipset. I've had a few problems when I recently upgraded my PC, and a lot of problems were solved when I downloaded and installed drivers for my chipset.

1: Onderon/Dxun -> Mostly because of the Skyramp and Palace levels. 2: Peragus -> Sets the tone for the game, I like the mysteriousness of it and the HoloLogs are cool. 3: Telos -> Though short, it's still fun and it's a nice planet to be 4: Malachor V -> Malachor V -> First part with the Exile is a bit monotone, second part is a better with the fight Sion and Traya. 5: Nar Shaddaa -> Not really what I hoped it would be, but it has its moments. 6: Dantooine -> Never really liked the planet. The battle of Khoonda wasn't what I hoped it would be, but I hope TSLRP can gives us back the real battle. 7: Korriban -> Uninspirational, almost nothing to do, empty, you can see it's a last-minute addition. It still has one of the best parts in the game, the Tomb, but hat can't keep this planet from the last place.

help getting kreia to tain me
Miltiades replied to jclark1675's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Do you mean choosing your new class (for example Sith Marauder)? If that's what you mean, then you have to talk to her when you are at lvl. 15. All other training you get when you have enough influence with her, like Accept said. There's one exception. She says that she'll teach you something when you have found all Jedi Masters. You get a new Force Power after the meeting in the Enclave on Dantooine. Hope that helps. -

Online Petition for KOTORIII colaboration...

Let Obsidian do it. Storywise, Obsidian is better than Bioware, I think. They know how this will end, they don't need any help from Bioware. -
TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline

Now it's 0.4f2!! It's going good, I think. And that turret sequence is really annoying, yes. -
I had a discussion not long ago on another site if there can be grey jedi in the SW Universe. Although Kreia is a grey jedi in Kotor 2, she's tend to go to the darkside, making her a dark jedi, not a grey jedi. Although Jolee was a grey jedi in kotor, he tend's to go to the lightside, making him a light jedi, not a grey jedi. That was the opinion of someone. Also other people (so non-jedi) are light or dark, so they could also be grey if jedi could... Can we consider some Jedi grey jedi, or is every jedi a light or darkjedi? And when would a Jedi be considered a grey jedi then if there can be grey jedi?

What about them. Couldn't Nihilus sense them? And Sion had to know there were more, he killed Vash.
-
Weren't those the Lost Jedi? I mean Jedi who are hiding when the Sith threatened the galaxy. Like Vrook, Kavar, Vash, Zez-kai Ell and Atris. There's also Bastila.
-
, you have no idea. No, seriously...
-
In the beginning of the game, you assume you are the last Jedi of the galaxy. Later on you meet with Atris and she tells you of the 4 Jedi Masters who have gone in hiding. But when you fight Vrook, just before the battle he says that the Jedi are going to come out of hiding. How many Jedi are there in the galaxy at that time? If you're LS, there's still Bastila, and Revan in the Unknown Regions if (s)he's LS. I don't know if he said wit how many they are, but are we speaking of hundreds? That would raise many questions.

What are you talking about? The gameplay of RotS is WAY better than that of the JK series (and I'm a vet of the JO/JA community). Saber duels are handled in a way that resembles the movies much more closely, and the Force is better balanced too. The game's faults are the awful camera and its shortness, but not the gameplay. The game shines in that aspect. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know, I haven't played ROTS, but you see it everywhere on the net, bad reviews. Why are the Jedi Knight games so succesful and is ROTS not?

While I haven't played SW: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (I haven't got a PS2 or Xbox), there's something that bothers me. A couple of years ago I played TPM on my PC, and I wasn't really satisfied with this game, as were a lot of other gamers. Now, RotS doesn't do any better. LA has the excellent Jedi Knight serie, the gameplay was pretty good. Why hasn't LA used the gameplay from the Jedi Knight serie in the games of the prequels?

Oops, sorry.

I've just read a post on the LA forum in which someone said HK will be in the SW Galaxy add-on: Trials of Obi-Wan. How can HK still exist after 4,000 years? Go to this page and look for yourself. It's in french, but there's a quote from HK (Eliminate all meatbags!) at the end of paragraph 2.

So, you hate Star Wars, mildly dislike both KotOR 1 and 2, and you hate the Star Wars setting in general. So, since you don't even like Star Wars, how is your opinion even valid? I mean, it would be different for a Star Wars/KotOR fan to say that an RPG set in the Galactic Empire era would be a bad idea because he/she is saying that because he/she doesn't think it's a good idea, not because he/she doesn't like Star Wars at all. I would consider myself to be a Star Wars/KotOR fan, and personally, I don't think an RPG set in the Galactic Empire Era would be a much more difficult to pull off without conflicting continuity (more so than 4,000 in the past) if it is to be original. And if it's not an orginal storyline and follows the movies, what's the point of making an RPG out of it. We've already seen the movies so we know what happens at the end. It wouldn't be a good idea because RPG's are centered around a storyline and what's the point of playing if you already know the story, beginning to end? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well maybe that's true, but there are tons of stories that can be told about that era. It's not because Anakin and Obi-Wan are the main characters in the movies, that they are the only jedi in the galaxy at that time. There are dozens of jedi who fight in the clone wars and after that.

What I was thinking about was legends... In the SW Universe there have to be some legends. Like stories that are told throughout the Universe about a..., but never has there been something like that. Maybe those are better, because they don't ask for a sequel, because it's a legend. What do you think of that?
-
Premade characters are a poor basis for a CRPG. No. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay, maybe that's not a good idea.
-
RPGs :"> What do you mean?
-
Because RPG's fit well with Star Wars, I would like to see an RPG of the adventures Obi-Wan and Anakin between Ep I and II, and between Ep II and III. *blink to LA* What do you think about that, or do you like to see some other Star Wars story becoming an RPG?

KOTOR I & KOTOR II: - Story Difference
Miltiades replied to a topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
In Kotor I, you had Characters who are family/friends of your PNPC's. That's what I liked. In Kotor II, you didn't got that feeling with you're PNPC's. The influence system was not bad, but like some said here, it wasn't as great as it could be, but I'm pretty sure that is because of the lack of time. -
I think the problem is opening the console. I said that when I press 2 keys (note: 2!), my character doesn't move (if I use the arrows), like I read on a topic in this forum. But when I try a code, it doesn't work. I press Alt Gr + the key next to backspace. I can still move my character, but when I press the key above Tab, my character can't move. I don't know if I have triggered the console now, or not... Edit: Apparantly, I can press on any key after the first combo (Alt Gr + ...) and the character can't move. Finally it worked, it seems I have to press on backspace once to delete the key I had pressed (For ex: First I press Alt Gr + the key next to backspace. Then I press on 4, and my character can't move. So now I have to delete the 4 into my (invisible) console with backspace and finally I can type a cheat.) I have the international version of the game, so people who have the US-versions only have to press the tilde-key (from what I have heard). For the international version you have to add two line in kotor2.ini (look for my first post in this topic). But everyone knew that already I think, so I won't bother you guys again. (For the moment " )

I didn't know what to do with the nss file so I just put it together with the mod file . Thanks for the info. There was a previous version of the mod with more files, but I downloaded the latest one. Maybe I need those files for the mod to work, but I don't know what I have to do with the latest nih.mod.

Update on content patch please OE
Miltiades replied to actmodern's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Has anyone seen a dev. answer on the forums lately? They replied sometimes, but recently, nothing. -
I think I've got it. My character can't move until I press Enter. But the problem lies elsewhere. Because I don't get my activation code of Team Gizka (they got new forum), I can't ask people there, so I'll ask here. Does someone follow the progress of the Sion Vs. Nihilus scene. Because I decided to try it (It's not final). You can download the files from the Gizka Forum. Darkwarrior (from Gizka Forum) says that you have to put the mod file in the modules (obviously), but there's another file, an NSS file. I don't know what to do with it. So I also put it in modules. Now the only thing I had to do was type "warp nih". But it doesn't work. Any idea what went wrong?
