A dialogue between the two can't, can it? With no actual voice in the game, they would speak and there would be no sound.

From what I've seen in Kotor 1 & 2, the Mandalorian Wars must have been drmaatic and painful, especially for the Republic (The mandalorians liked it!). What I would think would be a dramatic scene in a movie about the Mandalorian Wars: You see the Exile with his Lightsaber drawn and an army of the Republic and a few Jedi Followers. The Exile's trying to encourage the forces, but you see all those frightened faces of Soldiers. It would be very quiet, and you here voices coming from very far (zooming in on the Exiles face with the Soldiers fighting on the background), the screamings of Republic Soldiers. I would chose Dxun, as it has life on, not like Malachor V (also because the Mandalorians were crushed on Malachor V). What would you like to see in a movie about the Mandalorian Wars, that has drama in it?

Maybe because when they had to fight an army, and Exar was in the heat of battle, he could use some armor. And that he made several if one was broken, or something...
-
I've read... (no, just kidding ). @Jediphile: Yea, you're right. But I like it much more this way than those awful things I saw in the comics. I just read it to know what went before Kotor. But, if you can get Exar Kun's light battle Armor in Kotor 1 & 2 ( Ulic Qel-Droma's, too), then it conflicts with the comics, because the armor is far more advanced than what's in the comics. But if you have played Jedi Academy and finished it, surely you have noticed Marka Ragnos, and his helmet his wearing. That's probably (surely) less advanced than Kotor. (Probably for the best).

She wasn't just a woman to the Exile: In these visions he saw on Korriban, he recognized her. But I agree with what you say. It would be a little strange that Bastila wouldn't be a Jedi anymore. And I have another question. I've read a few Star Wars Comic Books, and it's not hard to notice the style of drawing. But I've read "The Sith Wars", and the time between "The Sith Wars" and Kotor is about 40 years. The technology in the galaxy must have had a big boost in that period (according to th drawings). What has happened?

If I compare, Revan is a lot smarter and wiser in Kotor 2? What Kreia says about Revan, it's like Revan is one of the wisest men in the galaxy...
-
About the Unknown Regions, if there were any Sith there, then the Rakatan (assuming by Unknown Regions they mean the Unknown Planet) surely should've noticed them. Since Revan was on the Unknown Planet 5 years before Kotor 2, (s)he should've felt it somehow. Doesn't (s)he? Another question: So Revan had a place on Malachor specially designed to break Jedi to become Sith. Does this mean the Star Forge has nothing to do with corrupting the Jedi (especially Revan)? And then I have another question. Revan leaves all (s)he cares about (Revan LS) to fight the REAL threat (The true Sith, if this is correct). So (s)he's going to fight the true Sith all by him/herself, and maybe the Exile searches Revan and fights by his/her side. So 2 Jedi fighting a whole Sith bunch. Isn't that too much to handle?

Hmmm, could be...

Well, I had a feeling it had something to do with the movies, but that it takes millennia to recover, that seems strange. I didn't read the books of the New Jedi Order, so I don't know if the Republic plays a role in the books, but I played Jedi Academy, I don't remember well, but wasn't the Republic in the game? @ Mothman : Abou the second question, you encounter 2 Sith Lords on Dxun (Temple of Freedon Nadd), 2 on Onderon when you have to save Queen Talia (don't know for Darksiders though) and 2-3 Sith Lords in the Trayus Academy on Malachor. About the last question: I thought the True Sith were dead. I would like to fight some, so it isn't bad. But don't you guys think that Kotor 3 is going to be more difficult to develope than Kotor 1 & 2 (IF it's going to be developed). It has to fill both the gaps from Kotor 1 & 2 and has to have a whole new story. All those questions that need answers. Don't you think?

First - When I learned the Lightsaberform from Master Vrook, I think it was the Shien-form, he said it was a defensive form. When I asked Kreia about it, she said it was an agressive form. Who do I have to believe? Second - The title "The Sith Lords" was given by the developers because there was more than one Sith Lord. I thought they meant the 3 Sith Lords (Nihilus, Sion and Kreia), but I've counted (could be more) 7 more of them, so in total 10 (If the Exile is a Sith Lord, that makes 11). And those 7 weren't that strong at all. They are even weaker than some of the regular Dark Jedi. Did the developers mean the 3 Sith Lords or the whole bunch and do you think those Sith Lords were too weak? Third - When Kreia is defeated, she told the Republic would fall and that it would be felt during a few millennia. Does anyone know which time period she means, because I can't com up with one. Fourth - When you're aboard the Ravager, and you meet Darth Nihilus, the Exile can say that there are no Jedi on Telos and that Kreia has been lying to him. But when I'm back to Telos and I have to speak to Carth (If you told Revan went LS), after you spoke with him, Bastila comes into the room. Isn't she a Jedi?! Fifth - Does anyone know where Revan has gone to or what this threat is that Revan is fighting? I bet no one knows, but it doesn't hurt asking.

I already have a lightsbaer, so he doesn't make one.
-
Well, I've got 3 parts, A Color Crystal (in my case Silver Crystal), then two other things that have something to do with lightsabers. I don't know exactly what because I didn't spend any time reading what I got.
-
When I got Jorran out of the enclave and when he returned to the salvagers, I bought Lightsaber stuff from him for 1,000 credits. When I wanted to upgrade my lightsaber with the Silver Crystal I bought from him, I realised I didn't have it. Is this a bug?

I don't know much about the Mandalorian Wars, except what's being told in K1 and 2, so is there any other info about the Mandalorian Wars (that is reliable) and were can I find it? Second, when was the time there were no Mandalorians alive or are there still alive (I mean, after the Galactic Empire)? Another question, there's a lot of info that you can read in the Star Wars Roleplaying Game documents. Is the info correct in those doc's?
-
Hmmm, that would be a cool one. But I haven't seen it in K2.

Thanks

It worked But guess what? Now I've got another problem... Not a big one, its just, I quit my game and then restarted it. But it isn't in fullscreen? Edit: Oh, it wasn't a big problem. just had to double-click on the window. Was a bit too hasty to post.

On Telos it happens all the time. First it didn't had any effect on the game. When I was arrested and then taken to my appartment, the captain said he would leave us and let 2 guards stand outside. But before they could go, the doors closed. So they stood there in my appartment 'till I went out myself. The second time it was where I broke in into the Exchange and I had to fight Benok. Lopak Slussk was trying to flee, but the door was already closed. After I defeated Benok and all the rest, I opened the door and Slussk disappeared. I went to the Gamorrean, and he opened the door for me. I heard Slussk speaking, but before I gained control of my Character, the doors already closed. What do I have to do now?

KotOR II Movie/Music Patch Coming Soon
Miltiades replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I didn't mean it... But one thing I like to say: I've been hanging around the forums of the Restoration Project, and there's more cut content in their post than something else. So many lines of dialogue being cut, what would make the story good and better understandable. I mean, if OE didn't cut content, they would have made a huge game that maybe would have been better than the first Kotor. I don't say that it's their fault. I know that most of you realized it too, but that's what I realize now. -

In Belgium I have read a review and they gave it 84%, and they mention the sloppy ending and low-quality music. -
KotOR II Movie/Music Patch Coming Soon

Wow, I think that's a little too optimistic. It has to be a wonder that happens. They didn't announce a Expansion Pack, but a Patch. -
KotOR II Movie/Music Patch Coming Soon
Miltiades replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
LA hasn't done a very good job with this game (OE plays a part in this), but mistakes are made. Every company makes mistakes sometimes, and they can learn from there mistakes. Maybe we just expected too much from it, with Kotor being quoted by some "the best SW game ever". It was very difficult to make a game that could be as good, even better than Kotor. They failed, but it wasn't a bad game. LA is trying its best, they're trying to improve themselves, now the only thing left is to improve the community. If LA makes a Kotor III, I will buy it. And I won't hesitate a second. Because the Kotor games are the games that fit with me best. If LA makes more SW games, I will look at the reviews first before buying it, but I won't keep this "Incident" in mind. Every game has it problems, nothing is perfect LA, stay on the path of light -
KotOR II Movie/Music Patch Coming Soon
Miltiades replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, it means the patch could be released a few months after this week, but when they say "in the near future" it can't take too long. They say "as early as next week" for a reason. They could have said "as early as next month". We will probably see if the patch is coming or not. If we have to wait too long, it means (that's what I think) it's not coming.
