V for Vendetta. I had seen this movie two years ago and had named it my favorite movie of all time. It had great acting, amazing dialogue, awesome action and had that subtle Wachowski anti-Bush message. It beat everything else I had ever seen and I honestly could not believe anything could be better. It passed on TV yesterday, so I took as an oppurtunity to see if it was still my favorite movie of all time (I have watched many good and great movies in the last two years). I'm happy to say that still stands. This is still, in my honest opinion, the best movie ever.

It's not a matter of quality, it's just a question of having too much. Like how they cut parts out of a movie so it fits into a certain time. Games sometimes need that too, but not for the same reason. People might get annoyed, bored or simply confused.

Not to mention Japanese just doesn't function like English. It's one thing to have different grammar and vocabulary, it's another to have a whole different system.

Direct translation is always bad, but it's still possible to get a good translation. You just need to learn to send the same message, but still have smart dialogue in the other language. In other words, translation is the goal but you still need good writing. EDIT: In any case, it doesn't excuse the redundance.

I think Yathzee nailed when it comes to the story: it needs an editor. If the dialogue wasn't redundant it might not be so bad. Kojima might have an insanely good story, he just needs to learn how to present it effectively.

Germans also have this crazy car factory where you see all the steps and get to "make your own car". Germany rocks.

Ok, so I now have a job... first job. Except it was really creepy. Usually I get an interview and get news later, but now the guy (who seemed really really tired) just asked a few questions about my name, date of birth and regular stuff. Then he just gave me the job.

I don't mind the graphics not being jaw-dropping, as long as the animations are fluid (as in, no twitching when interacting with stuff or drastically changing direction).

Does it really matter?

As long as you didn't laugh when the cow fell down on Iron Man.

Please Lionsgate, PLEASE stop allowing those two dip****s to make movies. This is incredibly painful to watch.

From having read the story (and trying to keep up), I think it's safe to assume that the Metal Gear series defines "too much story". Seriously.

Actually, I wouldn't even mind going back to Kotor's block of text and lack of character voice acting.

So I have a more or less awful rig, but I remember actually using 3d shadows in CnC: Generals. Here's the thing: No other game supports them. Apparently it's my driver setup that doesn't support it, or maybe just my driver, or (hopefully not) my crappy rig. Is there any way I could get shadows to work on my computer? I have a Intel 915 video card, 512MB RAM, and a 516 Intel Pentium Processor, if that info helps. Thanks, WILL

I'm sure they have summaries or something, you'll just know which stance it is. Relax, Obs might have made some weird decisions but this one just wouldn't seem right. But yes, AP needs to distance itself from Mass Effect or any other game and feel new, otherwise it might just be received as a modern-day ME.

Might have been a problem with my comp though. The system isn't all that simple anymore.

Legs are easier to "single", and then you can turn them into arms by adding hands. I've created so many horrors... but my comp sucks so they don't look very high def... Say hello to the Fuglysaurs!
