  1. The Voice-Overs are part of the cut content. The only new VO's that TG had to put in was for Kavee (sp?) because there were no VO's for her at all.
  2. Mods don't have to wait for TSLRP, take for instance the M4-78 restoration mod. However because of the sheer scope of TSLRP almost no mods are going to be compatible with it, as it changes so much. Therefore, taking into account the popularity of TSLRP, mod creators like the M4-78 team and the team behind the Ultimate Saber Mod are going to be creating TSLRP-compatible versions so that players can experience the full, originally-intended TSL game.
  3. Nope, haven't heard anything from him in a while. Mind you I'm not going to be the first to know when he gets back, but I don't think anyone else has heard from him either.
  4. I'm also curious what being a nice person has to do with getting virsus. Marcus - are you trying to tell us you have STD's?? Anyway the bug count going up is a good thing because, for those (read: Marcus) not paying attention, it means that more bugs get fixed so that when TSLRP does come out, it will be just that more polished.
  5. Well that's why everyone associated with TSLRP keeps saying that the bug count isn't an indication of how close the mod is to release. All of the bugs that Milty and myself have come across were always there, we simply hadn't found them yet.
  6. Actually it's a good thing. Both Milty and myself have been able to find time to test, and we're finding more bugs to increase the quality of TSLRP.
  7. Not necessarily. I run an AMD 6000+ )dual 3.0GHz cores) and both KotOR and TSL run incredibly smoothly - I don't even have the graphics slow-downs that a lot of people complain about. Having said that I'm also running the AMD dual-core game optimiser. I'm sure that Intel woul dhave one as well, so might be worth checking out.
  8. Correct. Technically TG and any other mod/mod team is violating the EULA for LA games, meaning LA could shut down any mod they wanted to at any point.
  9. Yeah...that's probably because none of them post here! I mean seriously, great information sources you must have. Anyway Dash is the project leader, it is HIS decision on whether to bring anyone else in. He's busy, so everyone can wait. As for 'feeling for the community', what an absolute load. Go and pay your programmers of create a version of TSLRP, or shut up.
  10. Agreed Sharen, relax folks. As Milty said, Tupac has been active fixing a few bugs, and the only reason the bug count is rising is because Milty and I are going through the game and reporting new bugs we hadn't come across. That's a GOOD thing believe it or not, it means that hopefully when Dash gets back, we'll have all issues reported so the only thing that needs to happen is the fixes.
  11. lol, so you're going to show them up by using their own work? hahahahahahahahahahahaha Oh wait you're serious? Let me laugh harder HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  12. I'll hold you to that. Why? Because not only would it be funny to see you throw your money away but you might also learn some humility in the process.
  13. Ignore Tobin, run into the room, kill bad guys.
  14. um...no, the beast doesn't kill the general. You have to kill the beast, then go through the entry. Easy.
  15. I wasn't having a go at you, I just get frustrated with hearing the same complains over and over again. I know it's annoying that the TSLRP is taking so long, but it simply cannot be helped. What Dash is doing is important, and the mod WILL be completed. All complaining does though is irritates people (by people, read 'me' :D) but yeah, one of the hazards of reading forums when you should really be in bed...
  16. Well I also think SLI degrades the performance of KotOR's 1 and 2... not sure since I don't use SLI. Anyway it's not hard to build a computer that can play those games easily. What I tend to do, and you'll see when you look at my specs, is that I future-proof my PC. In other words, get the top-of-the-line CPU, motherboard, case, and to an extend hard-drive. RAM, Graphics cards, and extra hard-drives can easily be installed and replaced later on, whilst DVD-burners aren't that expensive so get a good one of those as well. As for RAM, how much depends on what operating system you go for. If you choose Windows XP, use 3GB. If you choose Windows Vista, go for 4GB.
  17. I'm tired of people whinging about not getting their free mod soon enough. Is there a fan based intelligence filter that doesn't stop normal posts, but does filter the whining?
  18. Well I run KotOR1 and 2, plus EaW/FoC at the highest graphics settings without any slow down. It's not that my system is bad on graphics, it's just the weakest point of the system. I don't actually have a sound card, it runs through the motherboard. Now with the motherboard I have, it also has an in-build graphics card (I chose it so I could still run my system if my card died), but you can also get ones that support SLI which allows the use of twin graphics cards. BUT even with just the single 8500GT (which yes is nVidia, I detest ATi cards, their drives are absolutely horrible) I play Oblivion and 'World in Conflict' on the highest graphics settings and rarely have a slowdown. Oblivion does have a few issues in the wilderness, but within cities and whatnot it runs perfectly.
  19. I think you mean 'Team Gizka', not 'we'. Anyway it'll be done when it's done. Complaining doesn't make the project go any faster. Dash has personal issues, they are more important than the mod will ever be.
  20. Well I purchased a new desktop about 1-2 years ago that runs everything really well. Keep in mind that I only bought a new tower, and the total cost was about $1000 AUD. Anyway the specs for mine are - AMD 6000+ CPU (twin 3.0GHz cores) - 3GB DDR2800 RAM - 160GB SATA Hard-drive - 250GB IDE Hard-drive - Pioneer DVD Burner - Gigabyte M-61 Motherboard - Gigabyte GeForce 8500GT - Coolermaster Elite Tower with an extra fan - Windows XP Pro Now the key weakness I have is my graphics card. Now it can run most games on the highest settings (whilst it's an 8500GT, it's also tweaked for better performance), but the rest of the system runs beautifully.
  21. Hassat is quite correct, you can't have the HK vs G0-T0 end scene without the factory, it just wouldn't make sense.
  22. Well I have complete faith in Dash, I'm sure he'll be back. Keep in mind though that I'm just a closed beta tester, and not part of TG, so even if there was a problem with Dash I wouldn't be involved at all.
  23. As far as I'm aware, no, Dash is needed. Unfortunately he hasn't been in contact for some time because of personal reasons, which of course take precedance. My understanding though is that no-one else can fill his shoes at the moment.
