    Well there are many ways 2 learn how to cook. U can ask your girlfriend to help you in this. it would be nice that you're doing it together.If a problem with it, then start with the basics. the same meat is better to choose the chicken, (it is easier 2 сook), add a side dish in the form of cereals and vegetables.Try to cook soups.See recipes on the Internet and look better on YouTube how to do it step by step. Good luck
