Eh, the general theme of DA seems to be more in line with Mass Effect 3. You can't win all your battles and even if you do, you usually lose something. Both DA1 and DA2 had elements of this (DA2 more than the first however).

Gandma is out of the hospital, but her blood clots will take a while to dissolve, same with the pnumonia.

Picked up DA2 for the PC.... I'm actually having a lot more fun on the PC because the control scheme is better than it would ever be on the consoles.

Everything is awesome! When you're living the dream! Of doing the no-pants dance on the couch! Edit: Also, if you freeze-frame a shot in the Lego Movie, the Flash makes a cameo. Hahaha, source? I'd love to see that. It's during the tale of MetalBeard... Flash pops up as one of the extra Master Builders.

Been enjoying my hours in Payday 2. The newest of the heists (the "Big Bank" heist) is ludicrous with over 500 police dead by the time you finish (usually by Jokering the place and crashing a bus through the wall).

Well, to be fair a publisher tried to get in on Pillars of Eternity when it was just Project: Eternity.

Well had an interesting night where I went out with a work friend and we ended up watching lego movie... On the couch without clothes. Also yesterday learned my grandmother is in early stages of congestive heart failure, has pneumonia again, and a couple of blood clots in her lungs (being fixed)

Yeah, I kinda figured. Still holding out hope. Also Payday2 is on sale for 10. Pretty good four person co-op bank robbin thing.

Witcher 2 is Four bucks... nothing yet on if Wolfenstien goes on sale.

He has actually responded to the phenomenon in at least one interview; the number of ****s he gives is close to zero. FYI Samurai Warriors 4 is coming to america this year too... And DW8 Empires (with Xun Yu confirmed)

Sounds like your purpose is to be Max Payne. With less boom boom more mope mope.

You should have driven a Ford F150. I should kill you for posting that image given wattersons view on merchandising/commercializing of Calvin and Hobbes

And for the forseeable future I feel like I have no real purpose or reason. So I shall be examining my options inside a bottle of Rum and copious amounts of different colas. TTFN.

Does this make anyone else feel old? Congrats Krook! ... And I'm sadly still in school v.v I should be done in december though but what I'm going to do after I have not a clue. That's not helping Calax! I Remember YOU as a HS kid too! As for what you are going to do how's this career path for a political science major: you wind working as a paid staffer for a State Rep back home in California (democrat of course). He'll get elected to Congress and take you along. Next thing you know he moves on to the Senate and you are running for his seat, and you win. You are full of ideals about how government can help people. Then 10 years go by. You're filthy rich because you've been taking bribes the whole time and stealing from taxpayers. You've been banging on of your 19 year old staffers but that's ok because your wife despises you now anyway and is spending your money as fast as you can steal it. Finally you move on from the 19 year old to an even hotter 20 year old that was answering phones during your last campaign. The 19 year old gets pissed and goes to the Washington Post with details of your affair and your financial dealings. It's a huge scandal but the House Majority Leader refuses to investigate because you are the same party as they are. But your constituents vote you out of office anyway and your wife divorces you. But that's ok because you were stealing taxpayer money from slush funds and hiding it off shore and it makes a nice supplement to your $200k post-elected office lobbyist job convincing congress to cut down the Redwood National Forest. Proving that politics is a hideous bitch-goddess that turns good people into bad ones and idealists into hypocrites! I'm joking of course. But given your education and intelligence why don't you consider politics? It beats working for a living! I was never in HS while on this board... I did join in 2005 at the age of 19... and I'm 28 now. And I wouldn't have enough backbone or "swagger" to be a politician. Instead I'll just take my History major/Poli Sci minor and wander off wonder wtf I'm gonna do in 6 months. Also, I've been having a nasty arrhythmia today within my heart.

Obviously I don't know the guy, but maybe he didn't want to wake you? He could have at least put the couch bed away. It's not like he didn't use my bathroom (which meant he had to walk through my bedroom) this morning Then I regret to inform you that your brother may be a c***. Why do you think I started with "My brother is an ass"?

Had my brother visit the other day. He's an ass still. He showed up and we ended up seeing a movie but then he wasn't hungry so I couldn't really go out to eat anywhere. After that He basically forced me to go to bed because he wanted to and he was sleeping in the living room with all my entertainment. And this morning he left without even saying good bye and didn't break down the bed he was using. So I'd woken up but was staying quiet in case he was still asleep, until my cat decided his lack of food could not be ignored. Step outside and lo and behold he's gone so I could have gone out sooner

Biggest thing about last of us was that it's characters were FANTASTICALLY well written. And AC actually has a pretty good history of writing good female characters (specifically Ezio's family and Caterina Sforza and some of the black flag characters). It's just none of them were playable in previous iterations and nobody batted an eye. In fact Brotherhood got a bit of praise for having Caterina Sforza be so good. And if we're playing numbers, I guess we could pit Last of Us or Uncharted against Wet...

But can you say that it wouldn't have had similar success if it were a male protagonist? I mean the story is ripped straight from Far Cry 3 which did well too.

I think his point is that assuming that just having a female as a lead character isn't exactly a surefire way to bask in the glow of female gamers buying your game. Lara Croft would be a good example.

Reportedly from dad, just every hour on the hour stick him on the toilet, and then reward him when he goes.
