because then I can revel in the glory of say, Too Human, or Mass Effect. GTA is not my type of game (at least not the type I'll purchase right off the bat) because sometimes the difficulty can be BRUTAL and the penalties for dying are horrible. Also, while sandbox is good, too much sandbox is evil.

Yeah, totally technical. I mean if wrestling was, you know, technically real or whatever. well... I think the main thing to think when watching wrestling is to know that while yes, most of everything is planned out to the last detail, they still are the ones who put together the moves. (honestly alot of my views about professional wrestling were changed by reading Mick Foley's book)

I just remember aussalting cities with four spearmen and NEVER wining with sixteen tanks.

which has absolutely nothing to do with this thread and is nothing more than your sorry-ass trying to be cute making an otherwise ill-informed, nonsensical, political statement. i tried to be reasonable with you earlier but your obvious adherence to dogma and ideology gets scorn instead. a) educate yourself. b) shut up in the mean-time. taks I would hardly consider calling somebody an idiot "reasonable" and could you tell me where lying to get into a war is a good thing? and no, super secret societies don't count. and if you consider any view other than your own to be ill-informed you should probably make the ostrich your personal mascot As to healthcare I'd prefer it if we went to a more government based system as it seems like the current system is just a horrible about how to deal with patients. I almost don't have insurance. Almost only because I work part time at gamestop (who's so afraid of it's workers unionizing that they are willing to give us at least a itty bitty bit of insurance) If I didn't I'd be ineligible for unemployment and I wouldn't be able to get Medical, Medi-cade or anything like that because my FAMILY has enough money to cover most things. while my family would post my medical bills I think there are at least a few people who's parents wouldn't but the fact the parents had money would still render the poor guy unable to attain state sponsored health benefits.

It's hard to believe i saw wrestlemania 20 and when benoit celebrated with has family and even vince called him a monster he should have just killed himself instead of his wife and son I think he did... just after the rest of the family.

Not at all. We are talking about the FEDERAL Government here. The US Constitution spells out exactly what the role of the FEDERAL Government is. It places limits on it's scope and power. And it angers and frightens me when it over steps those limits with seeming impunity. And even worse when I hear intelligent people like you actually demanding that it overstep it's power to do something the Constitution expressly forbids it to do. If the Federal Government is not held to the Constitution then there is no law and none of us are safe from it. If a STATE Government wanted to provide health care for it's citizens then I would have no problem at all with it. But the words "health care" do not appear in the US Constitution I had to laugh at that statement... I thought part of the governments "do not do" list was outright lying to the populace for political gain (or a license to go to war)

Could you mention Superman in a Spiderman comic?

but... Zatanna! Its still gay. Magic is for elves and other sissies. Not a Star Wars fan? The force is tiny bacteria in your blood, not magic. Phh.... I take it gandalf is a sissy? -
each ability is an icon, each bit of text is either a character name or their guild... the main thing I was looking at was all the corpses that were lying at the entrance to Karazon.

That would be Batman. At least according to Frank Miller, Superman is semi-retarded. Magic is a superman vulnerability because he's from a scientific race... kinda... actually they gave him the magic vulnerability because they couldn't keep having everyone have a rock from a dead planet. -

technically, both the hulk and superman's limits are endless... Hulk gets his power depending on how out of his mind with rage he is (and at the time of the story, he was essentially bruce with a giant green body...) and Superman soakes up energy like a plant. So Hulk gets angry, superman flies into the sun... both become powerful enough to be made into dragon ball z characters. -

No, they wouldn't sue each other over mentioning the others character in a comic. They will sue anyone else though. (besides, I don't think marvel could win in a fight against Aol-Time-Warner) -

Come on man, guy with a flaming skull whipping flaming chains around. How is that not cool? Agree with the plot, acting, script, etc though. Just saw Fantastic Four 2. It was not bad. A fun watch. Doom needed more green in his costume and more ruling of Latveria. Also, Galactus as a storm cloud, not cool. am I the only one who thought F42 could have been made VERY EASILY into two movies? Ghost rider was 4 boss fights with filler... kinda like lost planet.

actually, genius, the universe is finite. you're working on proving the latter simply by your unwillingness to even understand the concepts of your own freaking government. taks is it really my government if it doesn't actually represent me and my wants/needs?

I skimmed this and am wondering how the HELL we got from a debate between two scholars to a debate between meta and qwerty (that involves math and D&D geeks...)

well, Jor the way that the intro is done seems to hardlock it so that you can have events go with a little liniarity. You start out being born to choose your race, physique and looks, as a toddler you pick up basic attributes, then skills when in the equivalent of high school. then daddy decides to make a run out of the vault and you chase him... I think it'd be hard to leave the vault without skills.

your essentially envisioning an mmo where instead of say, leveling you'd fight for one year/month as one person then they'd retire and the next year/month you'd play as their kid?
