When I was in boot they made sure to integrate male and female divisions. But they also made sure that contact between the two genders was kept so minimal that no relationships would develop (but that didn't stop some according to my petty officer, He's caught couples doing the deed in a little used bathroom in the building we were in). As for Infantry I would expect that the general idea of keeping them out would be "OMG what happens when they are captured?" the general Idea I seem to have in my mind that most people would think about in terms of a captured female is that the captive would be raped constantly by her captors.

Interesting Factoid, Sacramento was origionally built on the banks of the American river. However the origional town was built in such a way that the ground was HORRIBLE to walk, ride, or otherwise move upon. So what they did was they simply added a story to each building and raised the ground level a story, so now Old Town stores always have 3 stories, the basement (which is often occupied by a different business) the street level and the upper floors. Also the buildings interconnect because what used to be alleyways became indoor courtyards. Also I think Sac and about 1/2 of it's surrounding suburbs are built on a 100 year floodplain. and that sucker hit in 96.

I guess the thing I was trying to point out was that the psudo Palestinians in my analogue wouldn't need to go to violent lengths to get themselves recognized in this day and age because if America Oppresses somebody the American public will usually find themselves on the sides of the oppressed because it's ingrained in our childhood that NOBODY should be oppressed in any way shape or form. It's easier for America to disconnect with other countries and their oppression because it's not an every day thing that constantly niggles at your conscience. Sure there are groups that focus on the plight of various oppressed cultures (free tibet, and I bet there was a pro-black south africa group years ago), but usually they are ignored by the general populance. Israel is not ignored but Americans practically view Israel as a sort of sibling in terms of nationality. Israel uses this to great advantage and is able to practically get away with murder because 70ish years ago the Jews were under threat of genocide by a very unambiguously evil person. Sympathy for the Jewish as a people is IMHO being force fed to students in America during history lessons. We're taught that Genocide is a bad thing, but the only really well known versions of this are the American Indian tribes, and the Jewish people. Thus in public schools we are taught that because they've been through so much hardship, and are the "last remnants", they should be allowed to make their own rules. Heck, Within the past couple of years (06 I think) I heard about a archeologist finding a possible evolutionary link about the first peoples in north america, he excavated it and tried to study it to figure it out, but was blocked when the Indian tribe that used to dwell in the spot where the skeleton was found, filed a lawsuit claiming that the guy was part of their tribe and thus they were going to rebury him in a traditional manner. Now I'm not a racist man, but I do find that impeding scientific progress because you think your ancestor's of 100 generations ago bones surfaced and had to be reburied within a religion that he probably never dreamed of is stupid. Yes I know I'm committing an internet sin by not going out and finding a link to the news story but it can be hard to find these stories when you search in generalizations. Anyway, Israel is only allowed to get away with being a racist state because of the "Awww poor Jews. Hitler tried to kill them" mentality that Americans are taught in history class. IIRC Israel is also dependent on US arms deals to even survive (might be old information). The only way Israel will be held to the same standard as any other nation of the world, is when the US stops being the parent country who's so happy about their little child that can walk talk and be a strong man that they just want more. I'm not trying to say that Jews and Native Americans are bad people, but I'm also trying to refute that they are inherently good because they were almost exterminated by attempted empires. Near Extermination shouldn't give a group the power to make their own state wherever and whenever they want. I mean attempted murder victims don't have their own cabal that runs around setting up a city for the victims where anyone who upsets their delicate psyche's is lynched. I donno, I haven't seen many Israeli citizens talking normally or abnormally on TV or the internet. The only one I can remember off the top of my head was a member of the military showing off a tank for a list of the top 10 tanks in the world. The woman who was doing the demonstration/explanation of the tank struck me as very smug, as if she was showing the world that Israeli's were smarter and more innovative than the rest of the world. Yes the tank was a good tank, but It also had draw backs to it (it was HUGE in size and wouldn't be good for anything except Urban and Desert environs because of it's size) but the Demonstrator thought it was gods gift to tanks. anyway enough ranting.

Well yeah, but at least half of those were you guys running in front of me! A few more from me shooting at anything that moved after I got Boomered and couldn't see anything beyond the fact that something was moving. Okay, there were a few "trigger happy" moments where I didn't stop to check whether that shape was a human or a zombie. For the ones that don't involve someone running in front of me it's more about target recognition than bad aiming. If it was all bad aim, I should have fewer friendly fire incidents, no? well, most of the time you did have the most zombie kills. Why was I the one that usually had to pick up the pieces when Shockwave did something stupid ("I thought the witch was a regular zombie!")

I find it interesting that the American mindeset towards Israel is always "they're doing what they have to in response to terrorism" when other sources report that Israel is actually using tools of terror to try and keep Palestinians in check. In particular I've seen clips of senators from both sides saying "America would do the same thing if San Diego was hit with rockets from Tijuana." or something similar. But I personally think that if America was oppressing somebody as much as the Israeli's seem to be oppressing the Palestinians for simply existing, the ACLU and a heap of similar groups would be protesting and ultimately the public opinion would be neutral or against military intervention (and probably more anti oppression) and if the government did mount a response similar in scale to Israels, well the politicians wouldn't be able to do that because it'd be political suicide except against a VERY obvious enemy.

It's so vague it could go on the back of almost any book about evil. I donno, Sometime generics work but I think you need to give more info about the crisis, not necessarily what's causing it but more like what the response (for example assuming the city gets placed under quarantine mention that "the police officer searches a city under quarantine for the cause of the nightmare")

Dead Space is a rental, Left 4 Dead is insane fun if you have friends online, if you don't it can get annoying because the computers are able to hit a beer can at 600 yds, and then stand around in a fire and die.

Played some Left for Dead with 2 RL friends and Dereladin Der needs to work on his aim (he had the most friendly fire incidents out of us all)

WoW, and Left 4 Dead. here's something weird, Fallout 2 Dungeon Siege 2 Heros of might and magic V and Boiling point (for windows XP) are all rated AO on Amazon. and that's just RPG's, just hitting the AO button for PC games brings up some REALLY interesting games that specifically say M on the box shown but are called adults only on amazon. (call of duty 4 is on there.) If anyone is looking for me on the PC version of left 4 dead I'm Calax.

Got caught up on my anime while my body metabolized the novacain. Why do I get the feeling I can predict a plot point in Gundam 00 (I just know the standard military is going to rebel against the Alaws faction)

Daemons powers (as I understand it) are basically the ability to manipulate the warp at and force it into real space at will. So yes, it is kinda like Neo except that the rules are defined by just how firmly rooted something is in the warp. From reading a bit on Relicnews and wikipedia and other sources, a Daemon is a psycher taken to the next level. Unsanctioned/untied psychers (those that don't have a godlike patron basically) manipulate their power through sheer force of will (to summon lightening for example they literally fashion the warp into the shape of a lightning bolt and then force it into the material realm), while those that are sanctioned or have a patron generally have the use of the patron to manipulate the bolt and they just kinda throw it. The scariest thing I think for anyone to do in 40k would be take on a daemon in the eye of terror (given the entire area is in the immaterium and thus MUCH easier to manipulate the environment). inside the Warp it's like neo with no rules.

Probably the biggest draw back to setting a game in the Hyperspace War is that practically nobody who games today saw them and the Devs would probably have to change the way that the hyperspace war played out to make it more dramatic for the player and have the player rather than the the Dragons or whoever save the universe.

If I had better guilds I'm sure I'd be more into it. As it is most of my friends are spread across multiple servers, and the guilds I wind up joining are full of people who say nothing but DING! all day long. Or there's a flood of "GRATS DOOD" whenever someone gets an achievement, even if it's for catching five fish or clearing out the deadmines or something like that. Signal to noise ratio is a bit whacked, I guess. I got really lucky, I'm in quite possibly the oldest and largest alliance guild on my server I think we can if we had every toon active field 450 characters +, people we're closer to 200 (I think, Might be alot more) but that's still pretty big all things considered.

Finished "A Cruel Wind" and started on "A Fortress in Shadow" which is the prequel that was written after the previous books. These are omnibuses by Night Shade Books of one of Glenn Cooks creations. The intro to Fortress in shadow is by Steven Erikson and I liked one of the lines he used. "You could picture some long-lost prince, stepping in from the usual mill of fantasy writing, his plate armour bright and polished, his fair hair luffing in the wind, his teeth bright and his **** boldly bulging his breeches (okay scratch that last part), stepping into one of Glen Cook's stories, standing there at the roadside, and some ragtag, exhausted, grim-faced troop of soldiers ride past, every hoof kicking mud and horse crap and worse all over the hapless bystander." It's interesting because Cook did the same thing as George RR Martin is doing currently 20 ish years ago, the Dread Empire trilogy was early eighties, then he created Black Company (also in 2 omnibuses) and finially a supernatural detective The garret files.

well the devs imho hamstrung themselves on the freeroaming so the characters ultimately have 4 seperate stories going on at the same (one for each boss section) and the entire thing gets split up and doesn't make much sense until the last boss fight of each section.

well i got it working, mostly. It took three tries to reinstall windows (ended up repairing) but unfortunately in me swapping my network card between systems it no longer is seeable by my systems (In order to make this post I stole the card I gave to my dad). and I probably am going to reformat the computer to see if It can install things and stop getting the weird Microsoft install of "status" (whatever the heck that is). It's very wierd. Ok the new system is finally back in operation but I'm worried, if that sequence of events happens again I'm going to have it looked at professionally.

here's the kicker kafty, there is no "advanced" combos, all your combat abilities are unlocked from the beginning.

the alliance have a quest where you search through wolves poo in order to get somthing. I've had a problem with a few of the giants (the sons of hodir quests to unlock them are a PAIN, but you get some awesome shoulder enchants so Meh) For alliance at least there's K3, Dun Niffilheim, Frosthold (for the BRONZEBEARDS!), and a little place in the north west. Horde doesn't have frosthold or the other place but there is a crash site that seems really out of the way for the horde.

I'm gonna go to a repair place in the week and get it diagnosed. I'm not savvy enough with computers to do this on my own. On a side note, I did figure out why my computer hated any internet music/videos and the windows basic sounds. Turns out somwhere along the line I had broken a registry for Flash and it's cousins. a quick download of Klite codec pac (which has a repair feature) was able to quickly able to repair the registry.

from what little I understand from talking to a few people, the computer is trying to pull up somthing that got broken when I had to cold **** my computer. I'll probably go into a computer place and ask how much to fix it tommarow. and now this comp doesn't like playing any sound or video from the net. I can do stuff like ventrilo and game sounds but not youtube (locks up after 1 second and has 0 sound)

I tried safe mode and it runs through a group of driver that it launches and then just stops dead and won't do anything.
