Down the block, and not across the street! Honestly, 99% of the time the second I wake up I have no recollection of my dreams. I don't know why, but I had a crazy theory when I was younger.

Romances in RPGs
I've never been an addict, or really done any drugs, but there was a woman who made me feel like I junkie. I wrote some lengthy, screwed up poem about her that would make Groin happy (relatively). In it I used the line "my veins itch for you". Maybe it was that kind of romance.

Something that's been on my mind
Most prebuilt machines aren't build for gaming, and gaming optimized machines often cost a pretty-penny. If anyone ever needs help designing a system, let me know.

I don't know if the Knights of the Dinner Table guys would throw you a bone, since they publish their own D20 label as well.

Neil Gaiman
I've heard both Gayman and Guyman. I'm not sure which is correct.

Any country where you can buy used panties in vending machines is perfect in my book. :darque:

I'd also capitalize on geek hype. Find a geek who can get the word out, and offer them a free book. See if they will playtest it for a week/month, whatever. Maybe a local RPGA group, or something like that. If they are anything like the Camarilla (White Wolf's official fan club/gaming group - 11,000 members strong) then they chat on mailing lists alot. Maybe find a web cartoonist who caters to the geek crowd. Some of the big ones get so many hits that a link from them will create a "Slashdot" effect.

The X-men thread pt. II
What are you talking about? Hulk Smash is all about depth.

Reading the one-page player intro, the setting seems pretty decent. Church of Light is a pretty cliche name for the big good Church, but other than that there is some promise. However if you want to get people into the setting, I think nailing the theme is important. Random names of nations and kings doesn't sell anything to me. If you have some intro stories, or flavor text, I'd put some of that up on the website. Sell us on the stories, plots and feel of the world.

They were playing one of those ultra-competitive Korean MMO's.

I'm sure he secretly loves 90210. It seems on his level of emotional depth.

That was a bold move and I hope it doesn't blow up in your face.

Hell, I'm also a big fan of Monte Cook's Malhavok label (carried by White Wolf) and the Atlas Games house. I consider those some serious competition. BTW, did you self-publish? It appears yours is the only book from your publishing house.

Gunz: The Duel
No. I thought you were referring to a Brute Force app. I know there is a Brute Force hacker program for cracking passwords, and I assumed you were referring to a simliar program to force your way into a server ahead of other people.

I wouldn't vote against you to spite you as I don't know you. I know several of the publishers and it seems like about 7 products keep getting 5+1 slots for each category. That seems a little suspect, though I can personally vouch for some of the products being nominated as being top-notch. I can't vote for you, or many of the categories as I just haven't read enough of the books to adequately form an opinion. Either way, good luck and congratulations for getting nominated.

News of the Weird reported a story that two parents were arguing who were better Christians, so one beat the other to death literally with a Bible. By the same logic, the Bible causes everyone to murder! We must ban it! Sick individuals will be sick individuals. We need to place blame where it truly lies and stop passing the buck, period.

xbox workbench bug?
Bao-Dur can use his repair on a droid, or T3 use his computer skill at a computer for instance. But at the Workbench specifically, the Exile's skill is always used I do believe.

That is a good idea, but wont work for replacing dialogue for existing characters like Visas, Handmaiden or Kreia.

Using Brute Force is pretty messed up, and Darque should check out Quicktime Alternative. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickT...Alternative.htm

Status of KOTOR:3
Since people keep asking what is going on with KOTOR:3, I think we should sticky a topic so that everyone knows the official status of KOTOR:3. In September of 2004, LucasArts laid off several of their employees, including the team who was currently developing KOTOR:3. All internal projects save for one were canceled. Akari, one of the KOTOR:2 developers said shortly after KOTOR:2's release that as far as he knew, no one was currently working on KOTOR:3 MCA (Lead Designer on KOTOR:2) has said a few times (such as the recent interview with Gamer Girl) that he would like to do KOTOR:3, but it is not currently being developed.
