Harpy Monk Card Persists
Killer_Power replied to kaliyama's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
So, it worked for me, thanks a lot for this solution! But at my next try I ran into the very same bug again... So maybe I will skip my Legendary playthrough of Black Tower until this bug is fixed... -
Harpy Monk Card Persists
Killer_Power replied to kaliyama's question in Pathfinder Adventures: Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
So... there is no other solution to this bug other than to uninstall and loose all my progress in all my parties? Sure, my characters will still be there, but I have to play again at least 64 times before I'm back at the point of progress where I am at the moment? And with the possibility to run into this kind of bug again? Honestly? Sure I love this game and I would play the whole path again some time but with a different party, not with characters with which I played already 70+ games. On the other hand I would like to finish the campaign (of course)! So: Is there no possibility that you can fix the cloud save? -
Harpy Monk Card Persists

I have the Same Problem, so I would be Interested in this Too! But if this deletes all my Progress for my legendary playthrough I would prefer another solution as this is my main Party,! -
Steam
Killer_Power replied to gibby290's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
I think, this is a really good idea! Release it as a full game for 25$, which comes with the full bundle and also offer either a f2p version or a demo (demo would probably be better), which has the content of the free mobile App (including the possibility to "upgrade" to full version for 25$). -
New player, have questions
Killer_Power replied to nyold's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
A possible solution could be to start a new story with a new party and play the first three adventures again. As far as I know you should be able to get the gold for this new party again. -
If you have 1copy of a specific card in your vault, then your characters can only have one copy of that card. However, if a character in Quest mode has this card but is not part of the actual party for this quest, the card can be encountered (and obtained) again. If both of these characters are later in the same party, you have two copies of this card in your party. At least this is how I understand it (haven't tried). If this is the case it would be possible, to farm that card with one character and if you got it start a quest with that and the one already has the card, trade it and farm again in the next game. In this case you could have unlimited copies of this card in your decks....

Black arrow longbow
Killer_Power replied to Kaden's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
Makes sense... the more weapons you already have the smaller is the pool of available weapons. Haven't thought about that. Well... another strategy could be to wait until AD4 is out and play a couple of adventures there to remove those basic weapons from the pool.... But this will also remove the basic banes from the pool, which makes the process a bit harder.... -
Black arrow longbow
Killer_Power replied to Kaden's topic in Pathfinder Adventures: General Discussion (No Spoilers!)
And why would a party with lots of weapon slots increase the chance to find this bow? I would say, look for an adventure which has locations with a lot of possible weapons and take as many chars as "good weapon loctions" are in the adventure. These chars should mainly have good dex scores, so that they can aquire the bow if you encounter it... -
Well, if it is the same as in the physical game, then it means that if you have 5 axes, you can get up to 5 axes and with every axe you get (and include in your descks) you would lessen the chance to encounter the other axes, because there are fewer left. But I'm not sure if it works also this way in the digital version of the game....

That's a bold move! But such a good game! I'm playing a lot of D3 lately, mixed with a bit of Wolfenstein. Haven't played Wolfenstein when it came out, so I thought it's about time... On my PS4 I'm playing Divinity: Original Sin once a week in Co-Op with a friend and work my way through the TellTale Games. Borderlands and Wolf among us are already finished (and I LOVED TWaU!) and playing Game of Thrones now. That's also great! It's almost like watching an Episode of the series...

Hi there, I know, it may be a bit early to talk about things like this, but are there already plans about the future of this game? I mean... if Pathfinder is a success (and I think it will!!!), will you also adapt the other installations of the game (Sword & Shakles and Wrath of the Righteous (and Mask of the Mummy when it comes out))?. And also, would there be a possibility (in the far far future probably...) to bring out the digital game close to the printed version (e.g. two or three month after)? I think that would be more than great, but I could understand, if there are some difficulties. But then again, it should be possible to adapt the mechanics to the later installments of the game (with a couple of tweaks here and there... there are a couple of new things in the other games). So... Are there any plans or ideas? I mean, plans and ideas which you could (and would) share with the community?

Oh I haven't said that more infos would hurt the game. In fact I'm also quite curious and would like more info, more screenshots and most of all a release date! All I said was, that if you are awaitung this game really eagerly, that your interest shouldn't wane because it doesn't comes out half a year after it has been announced. Sure, with Wrath of the Righteous at the horizon the first installment of the PACG becomes a bit old (especially if you have played it a couple of times already), but I think this will still be awesome and will have his place on the App market. As for the marketing: Yes, more marketing is normally a good thing for a game, but why should they start with a big marketing campaign when they won't know, when it will be done? I'm not big in this kind of stuff, but normally I don't get why some games (or books or movies) are announced 1, 2 or even 3 years before they com out! But that is a complete other matter... As far as I know (and I observe the boardgame app market a bit, as I'm quite interested in it) there is always a market even for older boardgames. Especially if there isn't already app out there, which is similiar to that game (what is the fact for PACG if I'm not mistaken..). Ok... many words written without saying anything. Just let's hope that we will get a bit more info soon... as well as a release date in a not so far future.

So... I don't like this game. I really tried (and wanted) to, but it doesn't work for me. "Why?" you ask? Well, I haven't read the whole thread and I'm sure I will write what a lot of other users already wote, but nevertheless I will answer your question: 1. I dislike the combat mechanics. I mean, everything is ok with RT with pause function but I would expect at least some sort of AI behind a combat system like that! Even if there isn't a huge and complex system like in Dragon Age: Origins (still one of the best combat systems I played by now!) I would at least expect that my chars don't stop auto attacking after I ordered them to activate one of their (offensiv) abilities. For example: That mage you can get early in the game has an ability which he can use twice per encounter. I encounter some baddies, I set everyone on auto attack and then I activate my per encounter abilities. After he used his ability he just stands around, doing nothing... Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against micromanagement, but telling every party member to attack again after he used one of his special abilities is just a bit too much for me! 2. I also disliked the fact, that they mixed easy and hard (up to impossible) encounters not only in the same dungeons (which I'm ok with if there is a lower dungeon level with harder enemies, or if there is an enemy, which I can't defeat now) but also the same overlandmaps! Sure, I started my playthrough on hard, because I wanted a challenge, but after several tries at some points during the part I played I had to realize, that it is impossible to defeat said enemies. I don't know if that is because they are too strong or because of the before mentioned point... 3. I don't like the character stats and talents. One stat, which raises damage for both, melee and caster chars? That just doesn't "feel right". Sure, this can be just me, trapped in stereotype thinking and it wouldn't bother me that much, if all the other points weren't there... but so it is added to the list. Same goes for the talents. There aren't that many and two or three (can't really remember) seem to be useless... So there is no diversity between characters! 4. Recruitable NPC's aren't important for the story! Or at least they can't be if I can create enough cahrs myself to fill up my party... So, why should I hire NPC's? Or, if they are important to the story: Why should I create a custom party? 5. Voice acting: The acting we have is quite ok. I mean, I heard a lot more worse (and I don't get why people complain about the quality of the actors... never listened to german voice actors, have they? ;o) ). But: There are no pauses so that you can read the "emotiontext" between spoken text. And what bugs me even more: Some parts of a conversation have voice acting and others don't. Even that won't bugger me that much, but if a conversation begins and the first two text boxes are spoken, the third and maybe fourth isn't but then again there is voice acting just doesn't help the flow. Maybe it's me again, but I think, either so have no voice acting, have voice acting at the start of a conversation (and you have to read the rest of the text yourself) or full voice acting! 6. The maps: I only played like a couple of hours and I only saw a couple of maps (I would tell you, how far I played, but it says no spoilers here...) but I already remembered, what bugged me the most with BG: All maps are the same size and wilderness maps are just boring. You explore them, kill everything in it and venture on to the next one. There is no flair to the wilderness maps (or at least the ones I saw and I can imagine, that there are a couple more of them). I can live with that, but that they are all the same size (which is partly because you can't scroll the map). 7. Story: The story get's on reeeealy slow. I do hope, that it paces up a bit later. But the start already left me confused (I hope that this doesn't count as a spoiler, as it is the very beginning of the game!): There is this man which is quite sick, so that you have to get medicine for him. Maybe I got it wrong, but to me it seemed like he is really sick, so that they can't go on any more. And then that man has to look for it himself, has to fight a couple of threats and is suddenly healthy again? If there are moe plotholes like this I'm glad that I stopped playing it.... So, after I realized all these points and the fact, that I have other games I want to play (and so little time...) that I won't play PoE any more. Which is pity, really! I backed this game on Kickstarter and really was looking forward to play it! On the other hand there were a couple of things I liked: 1. Graphics: Even if not high state of the art I really liked the graphics. I liked the style and how it is presented! 2. Story: It seems like the story could be interesting (at least from what I experienced of it), even if I read otherwise in some reviews... 3. "Cutscenes": I liked that the solution to some cutscenes were just pictures with written text and some possibilities how to react. If you can't realize what you want to tell / show with the InGame graphics / mechanics then you need another solution. And this is quite good! So, in the end, this game is not for me. I'm although happy for everyone who likes it and I hope, that the next thing from Osidian, which I'm eagerly waiting for (PACG) will be more for my taste...

yes, but...the longer we wait, the more interest in this game will wane. especially as the third printed set is about to be released. ROTR is rapidly becoming ancient history. and this coming from one of the people most excited about this project. Do you really think interest in this game will wane, the longer it takes to make it? So, you would prefer that the game comes out now, only half finished with a multitude of bugs? I wonder what would hurt the game more... Yes, I also want to it be out and better now than later, but on the other hand I want it to run properly and that it gives me the game feeling I expect rather than a crappy beta test... (what a lot of other companies do!). I just hope, that RotR will be a success and that the other installments will follow faster than it took to create the core mechanics of the game. At least they don't have to create a new AI for each new setting.
