Just take the 'yourname' crystal in the crystal cave on Dantooine though, go back to Dantooine last to get the other crystals. You'll get much better ones.

You can get enough influence with the Disciple by talking to him on the Ebon Hawk. All you have to do is be really nice to him and tell him that the Republic must be saved and blah blah....
