THis is my new favorite youtube video
Nice find. I have always wondered if people have this rythm that they live by, a mental speed that they can live and relax at the same time to. For example, reading, and talking. And if their is such a thing how a musical rthym and can allow you express it, and also making it more pleasurable. This music correlating with the video made me think of that. Thanks Bokishi.

Hard drive blues
Clever tarna, thanks. I actually do have another 120 gig hardrice (same brand name) that would couple well, but i really wanted THIS drive to become the master. Still, your idea is more sound then having 3 partitions. I have 3 at the moment. Screw it, im gonna go with your advice! I'm going to have to wait a few weeks, im working 13hour days including weekends, and then im going on a vacation to washington DC. -thanks

Hard drive blues
Well I installed my new hardrive, and chucked my old one. So i need to install a new version of windows. As I was installing the harddrive in DOS (Its a western digital SATA Caviar 400GB) it read that it was going to make a 137 GB partition and that later in windows when i confirm i have service pack one or later it would give me the rest of my harddrive( the extra 263GB) back. So everything is going cool, i install windows (original w/o servpice pack 1) and then do my updates, like installing service pack 1 and two since i have my internet connection back. Now I'm trying to figure out how the HECK to get the rest of my harddrive recognized! I can't figure it out! Microsoft Knowlwdge Database for my problem Everything is up to date, I checked and i have the newest version of the ATAPI. So can anybody help me out and tell me how im suppose to get my PC to recognize the rest of my harddrive!? I'm having trouble unlocking the rest of my hardrive space.

Philosophy 101
Why do you "think" you exist again?
-
Philosophy 101
Yay, I love talking about nothing! Clicky! Wikki I believe in the 80's their was a phenomenon called genesis somethign or other where particles would pop out of nowhere, out of vacuums, then later they found out that even vacuums have particles and these particles will clump and thus will become more visible! Nothing is subjective on a viewpoint i suppose. Metaphysical, linquistically it can exist . as for in the natural realm im a skeptic.

What will be your next upgrade?
I just put my last upgrade lastnight in to this machine. A 3.4Ghz Northwood 478 pin Processor i bought on ebay for $130, not to bad. I would have really liked a Core2Duo but my machine isn't anywhere near obsolete yet.

Something for you to think about
You either put it at the moment of conception or not at all. I think. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pidesco, can you explain why at conception clearly, and can you use evidence to please? here are a couple developmental stages to look at. -The nervous system starts to develop by the 14thday of pregnancy. -The brainstem, midbrain, and forebrain are developed by the 8thweek of pregnancy. The potential arguement seems like that person is just happy that it wasn't him/her, or that it could be our next Einstien. Nonexistance is nothing to fear, because its nothing to us. There is no sensation, no pain or suffering, so why protect potential so strongly? Remember what it was like before you were born? No, exactly. Potential life is just that,"potential". we always have the potential to allow life. I choose to put the existing over potential life. Potential is just an idea, its metaphysical. Staying in the realm of reality when choosing whether an existing life is important enough. Stemcell for instance, our most promising medical study is in jeopardy due to this "potential" arguement, thus putting it ahead of the already existing life.

Something for you to think about
Just curious whether someone thinks a soul enters a zygote at the moment of insemination. There is no proof of a soul emprically, and definitions very to high degrees since we cannot perceive souls, whether they exist or not. Also to claim a fetus as an individual may be taking it too far. sure it might start to get basic living parts like the beggining of a nervous system, its just a basic life support system at that stage. The brain is underdeveloped thus so are the senses. If the person was refering to the unborn as the individual then I take it that he/she must believe in apriori knowledge too since it is supposedly an individual and not even born yet. un-analytic apriori knowledge is most commonly attached to the soul.

Something for you to think about
Are you refering to the fetus as an individual? If so, do you also believe it has a "soul" too?

Americans too fat for X-rays
I think part of the problem might be with how we work, and how busy everyone is in an industrialized nation. Always on the go, trying to save what energy we do have for our time off. Buying fast food for lunch and frotsted mini wheats for breakfast. Drinking Pepsi instead of water, or some other non sugar additive drink. Its easy to be lazy, but to be in a rush and degrade to fast food is the norm here in many parts of the US. And the fast food places don't help. Have you ever seen how long it takes MC D's Fries to naturally decompose compared to regular fries? Its like magic, they are eternally forever "fresh" looking. I found that experimenting with different foods helps me find healthier choices. I found out that I love sushi, and also eat fruit as deserts, love ice tea. I now bike everywhere i go too, I love my bike!
