problems not fixed. get to dantooing and suddenly everything works except forward and backward. same old, same old. woe is me.

I patched the game, and after playing for hours, I reached Dantooine and the exact same problem happened. Everything in the game works except for forward and backward. I'm actually sitting here laughing about it because it's so unbelievable! Oh well, I guess it really is the thought that counts after all. :'(

Is it just me or did the movies and cutscenes look WAY better in KOTOR 1. The bugs in KOTOR 2 are frusterating enough, but it seems that the movies in the game are actually of lower quality the part 1 movies. My system surpasses the game's requirements by far and I'm using almost the most detailed graphics settings as possible (even though I don't think that has all that much to do with the movies.) Is it just me or is this yet another crappy aspect of the ever-disappointing game?

Just because I'm bored I'll point out once again how ridiculous it is that we have to make all of these changes manually just to get the stinking game to work properly! :ph34r:

That fix for KOTOR 1 wasn't available until the patch was released. The same is probably true for KOTOR 2. :ph34r:

The Better Business Bureau?? Wow, I mean, I'm upset by the lack of patch and amount of bugs with the game but I didn't realize that people were this mad. Chill, guy! It's just a video game.

I feel like such an idiot for not checking the forums before buying the game. Never again.

With all the bugs in the game, it would actually be a pleasure to play it from the beginning without any problems.

I really do believe that this is a problem with the game. I'm not the only one to have experienced this.

I've had the exact same problem not only on Dantooine but on Nar Shadaa (?) as well. I've gotten so frusterated that I've decided that I'm not going to play the game until the patch comes out. I can't think of anything else to do.

I think you have to do what thousands of other disappointed gamers have been forced to do....sit around and wait for the patch to be released!!

Thanks, but what I mean by freeze-up is all the game functions work except for forward and backward. So, I can rotate the camera around my character, access the equip screens, etc., but I cannot move forward or backward. It's not that the game is lagging, it just stops working. Thanks anyway, though!

So far I've plaved the game twice starting from the beginning, taking different paths both times. The first time i travelled to Nar Shadaa (I think that's what it's called) and the game froze up. The second time I went to Dantooine and the game froze up. If there are any planets that people know are "freeze-up" free, I would love to know so I could play those levels while I'm waiting for the patch. As it is now, I don't want to go throught the frusteration of playing for hours only to have the game freeze on me. Thanks.

I sent them a not so pleasant email the other day, don't ever expect to hear back from them. Someone really screwed up on this one!
