  1. Ooh... I'd probably have to say Mumm-Ra from the Thundercats T.V. series when I was little... incredibly creepy and I have a thing against undead creatures: Also, I feel I should add Linda Fiorentino's Bridget Gregory/Wendy Kroy... very sexy and evil... although, I'm not sure she counts as a villain per se: (This was the most appropriate picture I could find of her for this movie... since most other pictures involved body parts that would confuse and upset the younger members of the forum)
  2. I saw Little Miss Sunshine today... it was pretty good... I like Steve Carell
  3. Oh thank God... I thought I was going to be the shortest person on here... I'm 5' 3'' (you dirty metric people can figure it out in centimetres for yourself)... it's not very tall... and shelves are a menace to me... but I cope The tallest person I know is 6' 7''... he's very tall
  4. I only want one... although, it's no great tragedy if it isn't selected: 1) 2
  5. I watched Rocky II and Capote today... I love Sylvester Stallone... who could have thought he had the potential to be incredibly romantic ^_^... and Philip Seymour Hoffman was the only reason I felt Capote was even worth watching really
  6. Sweetie... you've been guilty of that on more than one occasion so why don't you start practicing what you preach and don't call people idiots for the same mistakes you make, hmm?
  7. Awesome... reminds me of some stupidly fun times with my friends whilst we were a tiny bit merry ^_^ I'm currently listening to Ok Go's Invincible
  8. I especially like this one... particularly since you've linked it from my Photobucket account :D
  9. We have to get out of here before they kill Guy!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I love Galaxy Quest... it's so incredibly funny and awesome :D I even cry when Quellek dies
  10. If you are truly going to have problems deciding who to vote for then I suggest the tried and tested method of "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe" when presented with the ballot paper
  11. I watched Quo Vadis this afternoon... Peter Ustinov was so awesome... I wish it was him that shook my hand at my Graduation instead of Bill Bryson (although Bill Bryson is totally cute and silly... but still )
  12. I watched Dung Fong Saam Hap ("The Heroic Trio") this evening :D This has to be one of my favourite movies... although, this time it made me feel all sad about Anita Mui again
  13. I finally got around to seeing Rambo 3 :D
  14. About the single gene thing... I'm not sure about physical characteristics since I haven't studied them in great detail, but I know for many other inherited traits, such as personality and such, there's no "single" gene coding... things like that are done on a scale... that's why personality has a normal distribution and not a bimodal distribution... extremes rarely exist
  15. I've just been told by a very clever person that grey hair isn't actually genetically inherited... however said clever person didn't explain what it is that causes it... anyone know? Stress is an obvious candidate, but can't be the only cause. Hormones? Exposure to the sun/hair products?
  16. Me too... apart from the grey part, that might take some years, or if I'm lucky and inherited that part from my mum, then not for a very long time (she's almost 50 and not a single grey hair yet!)
  17. I'm not angry... and I know his acting is quite terrible, but he's never what I'd consider a problem to a film... but that's just my opinion " And if people say you look like Keanu, then you really shouldn't take it as an insult My housemates forced me to see this whilst it was out at the cinema, because they're big fans of Uma Thurman. I think we were only people in there who weren't 38+ year-old housewives. We were also the only ones that weren't laughing. I was in pain at one point from all the cringing. Poor Meryl. I guess you have to be of a certain age and upwards to appreciate movies like that
  18. How dare you? <_<
  19. I'm currently listening to Sebastian the Crab's Under The Sea :D
  20. I watched Cypher with my mum today... it was silly but watchable and Lucy Lui is pretty And I've just watched Armageddon on the telly... poor Mr. Willis
  21. I'm currently watching "Crocodile Dundee II"... I like Mick's hat
  22. I've been working my way through the Rambo movies very slowly... will have to fit in the last one at some point next week if I have time The 80s was the best for awesome action movies (amongst other movie genres) :D
  23. Hildegard... very nice P.S. Arkan... you kinda remind of Josh Homme... maybe like his little brother
