  1. Wait - people want to make babies with this Iridonian? I just couldn't really stand him to be honest. Atton was at least funny annoying, whereas Bao-Dur just didn't really want to talk about anything. Give me Mira baby! She's hot (and failing that, Handmaiden - might as well sow my Exile's oats in the legacy of Kreia :D) Sadly, Mira isn't a possible romance option . She'd kill me, even though I have really intense eyes, a really nice body and that I'm good in a fight
  2. I wouldn't want ALL the characters to die, but I'd like a couple of them too. I think it would inject a sort of realism to the universe.
  3. Can you kill that little girl there and then kill the mother?
  4. Mmm, I think this is a tricky question. I think it is both an excellent game and a terrible game. "Apathy is death Feez!" It did set up wonderfully for a philosphical discussion of human nature (much better than the original Star Wars movies I found), but because of LucasMoney, it all fell by the wayside at the end. At least EA doesn't do that. Having said that, Obsidian should of cut all the potential confuse-threads at the end (yes, G0-T0 vs Remote, Mira vs Hanharr. Hell, they should probably just cust the entire aspect of Remote scurrying around near the end. If I had to choose (to prevent both fans and Obsidian from attacking me), I'd say that no, it isn't a game that you should get. Reasons: 1) Why buy a broken product (no matter how much you love it?), 2) Why should we reward LucasMoney for forcing said unfinished product?, 3) No Mira + PC romantic intwine . Okay, so that ISN'T a valid reason, but the first 2 are.
  5. First up for me is the super hot chick named Bastilla, and then definitely Mira... then Handmaiden. Mmmmm, Bastilla!
  6. If anything, I thought the notion of Bao-Dur becoming a Jedi was, well, ridiculous, Atton as well to a lesser degree.
  7. I would like to second (and third, etc) the opinions that the third would have to resolve the storylines of Revan (and hopefully the Exile). I haven't given any thought to the complexities of the storyline however, but I do think it should provide a form of of external 'browser' that imports some save game data from the previous titles (or makes generalised assumptions... as distateful as that may sound) to weave the tale for the third. I don't really think that in the third game, NPC's of Revan or the Exile (or even PC's) are actually warranted. What is needed is closure of some sort yes, and while it would be benefical to have them in the 'flesh' as it were, it isn't really needed. Perhaps a datapad or something that leads onto their fate. This is admittedly a very ugly solution, but I think it still manages to create closure (whatever that may entail). Furthermore, I don't think actually allowing the third game to follow their footsteps per say is a good thing either, for the simple fact that if you do meet and fight 'the true sith' you would destroy episodes 1-6 ("Hi, I work for the republic!" "What republic? They were destroyed by those alien overlords about 4000 years ago. I think you should of stayed under your rock"). Afterall, it has been said, repeatedly I do believe, that True Sith are a lot more adept with the dark side than mere mortals. In that regard, I think it's next to impossible to have a 'happy ending' with Revan returning to Bastilla (OMG... she is so 'hot') or Carth, or the Exile returning to Visas/Handmaiden (I prefered Mira, although I don't think that option exists). I know that KOTOR doesn't stand for 'Knitting ... Tales Of Revan,' but I think the majority of the success of the second one is because it dealt in no small part to Revan. After-all the 'pimping' of Revan in the first one (the greatest military strategist'), and that revelation, it would be criminal of Obsidian to ignore it I think. Like it or not, Revan is a central character to the tale of Knights of the Old Republic. It would be like removing Luke Skywalker after New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, and replacing it with Rex - The Uber Mastiff or something. It would of absolutely destroy the movies' success, and I think if Obsidian (or someone else, anybody else) did it to KOTOR then it would be the same mistake. Personally, I have become more attracted to the characters of Revan and the Exile (and to their supporting cast... except T3), and to re-iterate, I think it would be poor form and would loose a significant portion of potential customers if they did remove them. Yes, any story they develop to continue the story is going to be fraut with massive difficulties, and I don't really have a solution to it (I really don't envy the poor sod who does have to do so), but I think the conversation pieces in TSL performed adequately for the task, and I suppose you could just 'mirror' the Exile's fate with Revan's (ie, he received some sort of 'force prompt' to help Revan (or to slay him to consolidate his own power) that would let them embark into the 'outer regions' to pursue Revan.
  8. I don't remember Vrook actually ever training Revan. It just doesn't seem to fit really. Kreia was Revan's first and greatest trainer (possibly because she was the most honest). Kreia mentions a couple of jedi, but i'm positive that Vrook wasn't in that list (I remember 'that fool Zhar - The twi'lek I think). I think Vandar was another. I really liked Atris, on the two times I've finished TSL, I was light side male, and the relevation that she loved the exile was great :D (besides, she IS sexy... her potrait anyway). Although, in the 'trial' it sort of befuddles me why she is so quick to sentence him to exile, if she really loved him, wouldn't she try to rescue him? I do appreciate the option in the trial (I know, off topic) that you can choose to stand by your decision (but, any option you choose will obviously still lead to your exile), I know that I would of. The whole verbal duel between the Exile and Atrius is gold as well. You can actually get her to see your side of things (to an extent), and I think it affects her somewhat as well. Anyway; back to Vrook. I don't think he was DS, but he was obviously pretty close to it. Perhaps he didn't realise how close he was and maybe Kreia did the right thing at the Council. But, I have to say it: The Council were weak fools because they didn't support the Republic against the Mandalorians. Even though both times I have played this game as light side, I always find myself supporting and standing by that decision. For this reason, I enjoyed TSL somewhat more so than KOTOR. I hope Obsidian gets the contract for the third installment.
  9. G0-T0 is useful... unlike T3, who still seems to be a 5th wheel. In fact, the only real gripe I have with the characters of KOTOR2 is that there are so many of them. It doesn't feel like you get the 'whole story' because you have to flit around between everyone and they all have their own pet peeves between each other (none more frustrating than Handmaiden and Visas however), which means their story can suffer (example: You don't gain influence with Handmaiden if Visas is in your party at the same time, and Visas doesn't gain influence with you if Handmaiden is in your party). I suppose I hate the influence system as well, it's a nice touch, but I just prefered the simplicity of KOTOR1 when you learn more about your companions as you level up (and them).
  10. I'm a guy, so while I was trying very hard to develop some sort of 'sexual tension' towards Mira (meh... Visas well, the only good thing about Visas was Kelly Hu), I'd have to say Atton was easily the most amusing character in the game. Actually, I'd say HK was, and then Atton, and then G0-T0. Was it even POSSIBLE to have a 'romantic' connection with Mira? Or was it just limited to Handmaiden and Visas? Sigh... Mira was sexy... a lot more interesting than a battle angel (I wish I could rename her to Alita ! :D) Handmaiden or a blind bat.
  11. Hi, i'm new here (although a bit of a lurker when I found out I wasn't the only person... 'disappointed' with the ending), and while it is great that a third game is on the cards (or in development now as we speak... somewhere), I'd much, much, rather the second one fixed first. I am naive though aren't I? I wish the decision man from LA had a long walk out the airlock... Besides, how on Earth could TSL have a detrimental effect on Episode 3? If anything it would fire people up to either get the game, or see the movie, or do both. No, I'd say LA's only real concern was the success of their own game tie in to Episode 3 (if you have seen the 'Making the Game' segment on the SW Trilogy boxed set, you'll know what I mean). I think if anything TSL would crumple their own inhouse game. Not to slight Lucas Entertainment, but, well, their own recent track history is kinda... lacking.
