  1. Figured I'd start us off,

This of course is just and example, give feedback in any format you want.

    What we are looking for:

    Feedback:

The primary goal of this feedback challenge is to hear from you guys. We'd love to get feedback from you all and want to make sure that 3.04 update is amazing. We will do our best to take all feedback into consideration.

We'd love for you all to test out the fixes and changes we've made in the beta and let us know what still needs fixing and tweaking. Below are a few examples of what we are looking to hear from you guys.

    · Druid Spell: Infestation of Maggots. In the past, the spell was not working properly as a result of a bug. We have corrected the issue and Infestation of Maggots now correctly deals damage based off % Endurance.

Feels a little strong early in the game, it does however fall off a little later on.

    · We found that Sabre's base damage was a little too high. Sabre base damage will drop to 11-16, and will have a +20% damage mod. They should still take the 'top damage' slot but this change should lower them enough to encourage other options. How does this change feel? Does this change stop you from using Sabres?

I love the change. I was tired of Rogues only using Sabres.

    ·  We fixed a bug that was preventing Ranger ability Powder Burns from reaching its full potential. Powder Burns now applies DR. Try experimenting with that build and let us know how you like it. Do you still prefer Twinned Arrows over Powder Burns? (Stormcaller is OP, we know)

I liked powder burns before and I'm stoked that they fixed the DR bug with guns.

    Open Communication With Us:

Rate us on how we have been communication with you guys!

    1. How have we been at communicating with you guys?

Yeah, love talking to you. Especially Sking, he is the best.

    2. What did you like about us?

Everything, you are the best developer. Especially Sking, he is the best.

    3. What kind of things would you like to see us improve on?

I wish Sking would get paid more. That would really take you to the next level.

    4. What would you like to hear from us in the future?

I want to hear about future projects sooner.

    5. Additional thoughts?

I wish I could high five Sking.

    Combat:

What is the hardest fight you had in the game? What were your favorite and least favorite fights? Do you feel that there were any boss fights that were to overwhelming or underwhelming? What was so difficult about it? Let us know.

Hardest fight on my most recent playthrough was the Abbet on top of the Abbey. My favorite fight is the battle for Caed Nua. Least favorite is any fight with too many charms. The Kraken is super underwhelming, way too easy. The Adra Dragon could be taken down a peg, breathe AoE may be too big.

    Additional Information:

Are there any bugs that we missed you would like to see fixed that is not appearing in this list? Let us know about the top 5 bugs you would like to see fixed for the official 3.04 update and how we can reproduce them.

    1. Tooltip for Sabre 'Sharp' is missing 468

    2. Audio mix up with companion barks

    3. Party AI will sometimes attack enemies in fog

    4. Fireball should do like 1 million more damage

    5. When does PoE 2 come out?

This of course is just and example, give feedback in any format you want. I don't think it will be winning any prizes.

  2. Found another interesting bug - unlocking the last level of Ryona's Breastplate has given my Chanter Triggered Immunity permanently, even when I change equipment, rest or reload. Would be nice to squeeze a fix in given the uniqueness of the item.

The Triggered Immunity issues 'should' be addressed as a whole in 3.04. If anything is still off with the ability or items granting the ability please bring them up in new threads.

    Thanks

  3. Subscribing this thread.

EDIT: I too would like to know about GoG. Can't check from my PC before Sunday. If I can partake the beta, I will; if I can't, I'll provide what feedback I can about bugs I'd like to see fixed and how combat generally feels regardless of 3.04.

Yeah... Sorry buddy, GoG will not have access to the Beta. But, we still want your feedback on our fixes and what fixes you want to see in the future. We should have a discussion thread for 3.04 soon.

  4. If anything else is noticed in the base game, is here now the best place for mentioning it or still the other thread? I noticed tonight that Ryona's Breastplate permanently gives Triggered Immunity for example, which would be nice if it could be fixed, even if it isn't game-breaking and is easily avoidable.

Further, does that mean that other bugs that were mentioned in the other thread not on the list aren't getting a fix? It seems like all the major ones are covered above, but there are a few minor things like the on-crit stun weapon durations being way out of whack which Loren Tyr suggested a fix for. It's not really a problem if they aren't fixed (I'd take it as that's how you're intending the effect to work, and wouldn't have a problem with making use of them in the game), but it might clear things up a little to know.

We will be fixing more issues throughout the Beta. Instructions for where to post your bugs/feedback will come out tomorrow.

    I got your backs

  5. [update 4: 9/26] Tim Table Update and Balance Change;

    - We are about half way through are current test plan for the 3.04 patch, we should be finished by Friday. We will be releasing the Beta on Tuesday of next week.

    - Sabre base damage will drop to 11-16, and it will have a +20% damage mod. They should still take the 'top damage' slot but this change should lower them enough to encourage other options. Let us know what you think during the Beta.

Note: We are looking for lots of feedback during this Beta. There will be amazing, incredible, unbelievable super secret prizes for people who participate. More details on this will be announced soon.

  6. K... So.... I think I figured this one out.

    1. Azzuro shows up with a dilemma

    2. You solve the deilemma

    3. Azzuro shows up as a Merchant for 2 days

    4. After the 2 days it says 'he leaves the stronghold' but! (this is where is gets exciting) he actually stays at your stronghold as a prestigious visitor.

I'm not sure if the notification that he has left is the bug or that he shouldn't stay around as a prestigious visitor. That being said, I doubt we will be able to fix this one for the 3.04 patch.

[bug] Cipher's "Pain Link" causes infinite damage

In the quest "Whispers in the Dark" of WM2, during the final battle with the Radiant Spore and its families, I came cross this pleasant bug.

Basically, I just put "Pain Link" on my melee characters, and then suddenly those surrounding foes died. It happened twice. Each time it killed 4 spores, and the second time even included the Radiant Spore! And in the combat logs, it said that Grieving Mother's "Pain Link" had caused "Infinity" damage to the 4 enemies respectively.

Unfortunately I lost my screenshot (I made the screenshot but I didn't know it's in the clipboard and I need to paste it in Windows 7).

Anyway, it seems to be a lovely bug (never happended before with other weaker enimies) and I just had my easiest boss battle

    Hey Ancientfire,

Can you link me your save file from before the fight?

My pre-battle save is already overwritten. But I have a slightly earlier save,  it just requires the crystal to get inside the gate first. But I guess it can be done by console commands.

I haven't been able to reproduce this one.. :(. If you can lay down some better steps for me I can take another look.
