  1. Hey (you bunch of flatterers)

Loving the lists, stoked we made it on a few. Figured I'd throw mine at you:

    1. Bioshock (Not huge on the RPG side, but I freaking love this game)

    2. Temple of Elemental Evil

    3. Skyrim

And Pokemon, though Pokemon has become a little stale over the years with constant repetition of the same formula.

Feel the same about Pokemon. Bummer it hasn't really kept up with the times.

    Honorable Mentions:

    • X-men Legends.
    • Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

I loved these games as a kid. Peeps at my studio try to hate on them, I always defend them. haha

Hope to see you nerds on the PoE 2 forums,

  2. 3.05 patch is now live on Steam (GoG, and Mac stores will be early next week.) This is a baby patch, just 2 changes (listed below.) I cannot confirm/deny this will be our last patch. We will still be checking in on the forums and making sure nothing serious comes up.

    Only one fix:

    • Stalwart auto-save no longer jumbles up creatures stats

    Only one change:

    • Dropped The Unlabored Blade 'Firebug' proc from 10% to 3%

    Keep on, keeping on,

  3. My Questeditor and the File says it needs to be Cruel Rank1 and 1 of 9 Companions in the Party, all noted with their special id.

The logic in the file is simple and should work.

If it doesn't work ingame, then its a bug in the calculation of the logic expression.

*edit* Quest Editor best viewed in Firefox, Chrome has a bit trouble to draw the lines.

Pushed a few simple fixes to show the pool conversation.

One need to import all 3 stringtable files to get the whole texts.

I bet the dialogue is only looking for the base game companions. This is probably the case for Devil, Zahua, and Menaha. You'll probably need a base game companion around to sacrifice any of them. Small bug, but I'll note it down.

  4. Hey everyone!

We are going to send out a Hotfix, either later today or early next week. We will be fixing the save/load issue in the Statwart auto-save (this would also effect the Stronghold attacks) and adjusting one item (nerf ;(.) We are dropping the proc chance of 'The Unlabored Blades' Firebug from 10% to 3%.

  5. Instead of attempting to retell the story of this bug as told by our programmers I'll just summarize. The game is saving before the scene has finished loading causing the mobs stats to be left behind. The good news is that it looks like we are going to squeeze in a hotfix for this issue plus one more (oh the mystery.) I'll post an update once I have all the information.

AmA plug (Reddit Link). Obsidian is doing a 'as me anything' on Reddit. Go ask my bosses questions!

We will get through this, you and I

  6. Yeah, our fix for the duplicating Durance/Hiravias in the 3.04 'should' be retroactive. I'm guessing your game was just in a weird state to where our retro fix wasn't enough. Don't think we are going to be able to fix your particular save, even with more patching. I'd suggest doing his side quest really quick and just killing him after. That being said, this issue should be fixed for all future playthroughs.

If anyone else experiences this issue and can give me some more information we may be able to get a fix in.

    Let me know

  7. :(,

So... I've been able to reproduce this but! Only in the Stalwart ogre attack scene. I've been checking other scenes like this one (awkward combats after FMVs, transitions, SIs, etc..) and cannot find another case.

There is an Accuracy lose in some Ogres (four or five) after loading the auto-save. Though it seems those same Ogres have an insane Endurance boost. The difficulty should be preserved however, because all Ogres in the Drazir party seem to be complete.

I'm definitely going to give this some more love, but as it stands I can't see us taking an immediate action (hot fix). Going to bring it up to the decision makers though, and see what they think.

P.S. There is a debug command 'ToggleCharacterStatsDebug' that will show NPC stats when you mouse over them. Careful with this command, it will be 'ON' until you restart the client.

[Edit] Keep on the look out for other scenes. If this is a more global issue we may address it.

  8. Hey Iwhit,

Hmm... We've had similar issues with movement speed in the past, but they should have been resolved. I'll look into it.

    In the mean time I'd suggest;

    - Retrain Sagani at a tavern.

    - Remove her from the party and add her back.

    - If you are 'super' in love with Sagani, then you can add a Pally with Zealous Charge to your party which will bump the pups speed up enough so it can move.

  9. i can tell you the steps as i remember them.

first time arrival at the elevator the lever was fixed with the crowbar/prybar immediately. then i went around the level to get the remaining stuff, including the dwarven lever.

when i got there the remaining stuff was fixed and the elevator went up. never got to use the dwarven lever (and must be what the quest log is waiting for).

I've tried that, along with any other combination I can think of..... I've started throwing save/load and resting into the mix. Still no luck
