  1. She must be dynamite in the sack ... " <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sure she'd blow you away. "
  2. George Galloway has the vouchers under his bed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thought so.
  3. Isn't there something like 8.8 billion of Iraqs oil wealth missing?
  4. No, she a good hoe if anything. Just look at that picture, isn't it beautiful?
  5. Copenhagen almost succeeded in defeating the British attack, and the lord in charge for the British fleet there had called for an abort of the attack, but that damn stubborn Admiral Nelson refused to pull out and pretended not to notice the order, and we were eventually forced to surrender. Edit: Forgot the name of the Lord.
  6. Thanks for the warning, and I agree, Spanish history is indeed interesting.
  7. I like history, been thinking about studying it at the university, but not sure if I want to tie myself down in study again. I'm mostly interested in wartime history, I don't care for much for the more peaceful periods. (if there indeed is such a thing, lol)
  8. I do believe that Alexander was blond, from what I've read anyway.
  9. O, that Valkyrie seems very foxy, very foxy indeed!
  10. The Commonwealth and the United Provinces were even allied against the Spain, no? They just turned upon eachother when Spain was no longer a key player.
  11. Yes, quite, thank you. I couldn't have stated the obvious any better myself.
  12. Very interesting, it appears there were four Anglo-Dutch wars around 1600-1800, I know very little of these but I just read about the English getting hammered by the Dutch at the end of the Second war, where their fleet moved up the Thames and "where they burnt four capital ships, and towed away the Royal Charles, pride and normal flagship of the English fleet." That's kinda humiliating, really. ^_^ Edit: I read this on Wikipedia, my all time favorite site for quick historical references.
  13. There's a lot of Sweden vs Denmark/Norway in Scandinavian history, far too many wars than I'm able to list here off the top of my head. But I haven't heard of these Spice Wars before, was this the actual name of the conflict?
  14. LOL, what I meant was how their flag had anything to do with the other cross banners! True, I've been to Greenland myself some years ago with my high school class, there's nothing green about it. But the water taste refreshingly... fresh. :D Greenland was originally Norwegian though, we just kept it when Norway was ceded to Sweden after Napoleon (whom we were foolish enough to call our ally) was defeated. Edit: What Reveilled said too, but my post was delayed as I had to rush outta the house for 5 mins. :D

This has to be false, EVERYONE knows that GL never leaves Skywalker Ranch.
  16. Heh, the Faeroe Islands are part of the Kingdom, and yet I didn't even know they had their own flag. :D What is Greenland doing there, by the way?
  17. Hmm, hard to figure out, this puzzle is. :D
  18. Yes the oldest still used national flag. I just looked on Wikipedia, and it states that the St George's Cross dates from 1277, but it doesn't reveal its history sadly.
  19. Oh, in which year was this? The story of Dannebrog is that the flag fell from the sky during a critical stage in a battle during the Baltic crusade under Valdemar II the Victorious in 1219, resulting in a Danish victory. The other Nordic nations later adopted the cross banner too. It's much more likely that some Bishop was standing on a hill and tossed it out though, but I still like the legend. :D
  20. Yeah, kinda ironic when you think how much of the populations that could care less about Christianity (or any other religion). But really, you're one to talk, you just took our colours and switched them around. :D (flag of England, not sure what it's called, ours is Dannebrog) Edit: Not sure what area you speak of, there's some Finish-Swedish speaking people up there somewhere, but can't remember what they're called (if anything specific). There is an area of old Danish land in southern Sweden called Scania (in English) though.
  21. It was a joke about all you Scandinavian countries all being alike, and Finland being the sexiest of them all. :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But among us snobby Danes, Norwegians and Swedes; we don't include Finland in Scandinavia because they don't share our languages. Aren't we the sweet bunch? :D
  22. Seriously Meta, what part of "Kingdom of Denmark" gives the impression of Finland, I'm dying to know. Edit: That was a funny interview btw. ^_^
  23. How on earth would you get the impression that I was from Finland?
  24. Because you get to... ride... her? Not sure.
