I'm laughing because quite honestly it's really funny how Kim is desperate for attention...with this move he endangered his relationship with the closest thing they have to an ally - China. And they are the main reason why their country is still functioning...their trade is NK's main life line...and they're risking cutting it.... One question remains - has NK come to the point where they have to end the embargo to survive, and with this move they're trying to blackmail the rest of the world to do so....and if they don't and even impose more strict sanctions NK is going to find themselves in a position where they'll see war as the only option to 'survive'....and I wouldn't be surprised if they did so, no matter how irrational it may seem to all of us.. And why am I laughing again? I'm laughing how shortsighted, stupid and stuborn they are, they are killing themselves in the name of some false and empty pride....I hate the communist more then anything on this planet and I'm glad to see how they're digging their own graves... And the Bush administration handled Iraq excellently and achieved most of their objectives, so they're not stupid how many picture them to be...the only catch is their objectives are different then they show them in public.

Correct, but they won't use the nukes first because then they've got too much to lose, to little to gain. Yes, other then military actions, a response by the US is very limited indeed, but the Bush administration isn't stupid - they won't launch any strikes, because the response by NK on SK would be horrific for the civilian population... I'm not laughing or rejoycing because of the posibility the west coast would be nuked, your post proves only the fact that you don't know me and my stand on this. I'm not a mad man to wish deaths of millions of ppl, american or otherwise.

NK's nuclear bombs are very primitive ones and cannot be fitted into an long range missile, so stop saying they'll nuke USA....and they won't be able to create sophisticated ones for years to come....their nukes would rather be used as tactical weapons in a conflict with the South Korea nad the US forces. And if they ever nuke SK, they are 38 000 american troops out there, and no US president is gonna sit by and watch his troops get nuked and do nothing. The US would in that scenario hit back NK with a limited range of tactical nuclear weapons with minimum downfall....and one more thing: NK isn't gonna strike first with nukes, this is just their desperate way of getting a better position in negotiating with the US, they are out of resources, if they don't stop the sanctiones soon their state will die....and desperate situations call for desperate measures....so is the scenario here. PS. Please stop saying that NK will nuke China because you're making fools out of yourselves.
