I could be wrong but I think that may have been one those cut scenes. Wasn't Kreia supposed to have knocked them out or something?

There was a force bond that was sufficent for the Exile to feel pain from the wound however, it wouldn't have been sufficent to kill the Exile like Kreia claimed. That's what I think anyway
