This is a rather long read. But it is somewhat interesting even if it dips heavily into the "sky is falling" screed you usually get from Rolling Stone. Although I do find Rolling Stone complaining about bad and biased news sources to be deliciously ironic! The premise of the story is how bad social media is (Facebook in particular) because so many people use it. And in using it are exposed to disinformation, news of dubious veracity, having their personal information and likes and dislikes used to target them for things other people want them to see... that kind of thing. To all of that I say: "Well Duh!" That should surprise no one. What did you think was going to happen? Nothing you do on the internet is private. Nothing. We all know that. Or we should. And if you believe everything that's sent to you on social media you are a fool. You've probably kissed a cross dresser by mistake once. If you want to be "saved" from Facebook the solution is simple: Don't use it! See hoe easy that is? But, as is usually the case, particularly from the left, it's not enough to abstain themselves. I bet I can make everyone hate the Buffalo Bills. Ready? Here we go: On November 28, 1968 Buffalo Bill receiver Bobby Crockett dropped what should have been an easy touchdown pass in the 4th quarter. The Bills lost to the Oakland Raiders 13-10. That loss sealed the season for the Bills. It assured them the worst record and the 1st pick in the 1969 AFL-NFL Draft. In 1969 the Buffalo Bills drafted OJ Simpson 1st over all in the AFL-NFL draft. He played in Buffalo for 10 season. While there he met and would later marry Nichole Brown. In 1994 he was accused of (and probably did) murdering her and some other guy. His high power defense team got him acquitted. One of those lawyers was Robert Kardashian, a longtime friend. Because of the attention the whole spectacle of the trial all of the lawyers became famous. Including Kardashian and his ex-wife (who was dating Bruce Jenner at the time) and daughters. Yes… the same ones you can’t check out of a grocery store without seeing pictures of or turning on a TV without hearing about. So…. If not for that stone handed idiot, Bobby Crockett, dropping an easy touchdown catch OJ Simpson would have been drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, Nichole Brown and that Goldman guy would still be alive, Bruce Jenner would still be a man and no one would have ever heard of Kim, Khloe, or Kourtney or have a negative association with the letter K. F-----g Bills!

How is a bunch of Russian trolls making memes and videos on Facebook and other places like that "interfering" with the election? Seriously I'd love to hear the answer to that. When I walked into the voting booth there were no Russians in there. A Russian didn't take my ballot. What did they really do? Spread disinformation? Everything you read on the internet is suspect. Campaign operatives for both parties were doing that anyway. So a few Russians got in on it? So what! If you believe the s--t you read on facebook you are a fool. I know that's true too because I invented Facebook. After my playing career was over for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I joined the military and raided Osama Bin Laden's house and shot him. That was after I captured Saddam Hussein single handedly. Now I'm a semi-retired private detective living in Hawaii with a Ferrari and a helicopter. I have beautiful women hanging off my arm and I just uncovered proof that Hillary Clinton is in fact a space alien that tried to take over the world. And you know all of this is true because you just read it on the internet!

Do you want to know what I love about Americans? When we are pushed, we push back. Since the demonstrations following the Parkland murders donations to the NRA have tripled. in January they took in $248k, In February they took in nearly $780k. And 68% of that was in the last 10 days of the month. Individual contributors are up by 500% between Jan & Feb. That means not only are people donating more, more people are donating. Like I posted before, the NRA is portrayed as this faceless evil force, Sauron in his tower. But the truth is, I am the NRA. And so is every other member.
