I don't get much into a twist how folks in other countries handle their business. Like Zorp said, not my business. The rush the crack down on firearms ownership is just punishing people who have done no wrong because of someone who did. But it's their show. Try that s--t here and we have a problem. But very few countries have the right to firearms ownership codified right in it's founding document.

Stress, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder I guess. Still seems trivial to me though. Stress is a registered letter from the IRS. Stress is trying to make payroll with insufficient capital. Stress is bills you can't pay. Or a phone call from your doctor after your last blood test. Stress is watching the river next to your house rise out of it's banks. Or watching that Cat 4 hurricane coming your way. An nothing you can do about either. Slow wi-fi and broken phones? That does not even register on the stress meter IMO

The floor in my house is a vinyl version of pergo/laminate/wood. The nice thing about vinyl is large sections make it mostly waterproof. In Tommy's last days he wasn't able to hold it well if you know what I mean. Plus it has a textured surface so it's easier for them to walk on .

Don't you guys know those "ancestry DNA" tests are a government plot to get everyone into CODIS? They can't take it from you without a warrant so they trick you into giving it to them as a "genealogy test" and to top it all you're PAYING them to do it to you!!!! Now when the time comes to round up the "deplorables" they know who, where, and what you are! And now they have your DNA. They can frame you for crimes and lock you away and everyone will think it's your own fault! Well... they are not going get ME so easily! They can swab the cheeks of my rapidly cooling corpse! In all seriousness I've never understood the curiosity behind these tests. Heck I don't need to know where my ancestors came from. I am my father's son, my dogs best friend, and the smartest and best looking man currently living between Cold Creek and the Hatchee River! That's good enough for me.

I didn't do this today. It was actually a few days ago. We are in the middle of a major reconstruction project on the Dunlap-Robinson Bayou levee. I was there on Tuesday and took some pics of the ducks that were trolling around. I watched them for a good five minutes and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them
