  1. Apparently XCOM: Chimera Squad uses preset characters instead of random ones.
  2. Let's worry about it if and when Trump actually does it. By now people should have realized he is just an attention whore who likes to say ****s to get negative attention but he rarely follows through on his words.
  3. Back in 2016, only two professors, Helmut Norpoth and Allan Lichtman, went against all the polls and pundits and prevalent predictions that Hillary would defeat Trump in a landslide. Using different models, both Norpoth and Lichtman predicted that Trump would defeat Hillary, win the election and become the president. Professor Helmut Norpoth has just updated his “Primary Model” and released his prediction for the 2020 election: “91-95% Certain Trump Will Be Re-elected” Link: http://primarymodel.com/2020
  4. This may come to most of you as a surprise who do not pay much attention to what has been going on inside China, but I have been following a development for a few years. A decade ago, the Chinese people were laughing at Europeans (especially Swedes) for allowing African and Middle Eastern migrants to rape and ravage their countries. Ten years later, after Xi Jinping — the General Secretary or “President” (a misnomer) of China — had opened up China to the mass influx African migrants, now Chinese people are suffering the same fate as Swedes and Europeans did a decade ago. (And you are welcome to google to verify what I am saying here.) Guangzhou has become “Little Africa”. Over the past few years, I have seen Chinese people — especially Chinese men — becoming angrier and angrier online and when they were overseas, complaining about the rising crimes committed by African migrants, and Chinese women are aggressively being harassed by African men. (Again, you can google all this to verify.) Also, African migrants are competing with China’s own migrant workers for the same jobs, effectively suppressing the already low wages in China. Yet, the Chinese government has been suppressing the negative news — to protect and push Xi’s vision of a “globalized” China and the “Chinese-African friendship”. Many Chinese citizens and ethnics (including myself) believe Xi and the CCP have decided to sacrificed the Chinese culture, people and women to protect for Xi’s ego and vanity project. If Chinese people had a democracy and voice, I really believe they would have voted in a right-wing anti-migrant populist leader like Donald Trump. Yet Chinese people do NOT have a voice on this matter. Only Xi and the CCP gets to decide. Which is why common Chinese people are now lashing out against African migrants, and why an anti-African backlash is now breaking out in China. Unfortunately, the CCP will most likely try to suppress the Chinese people to protect Xi’s pro-migrant agenda. The irony is: the neoliberal and leftist media and governments in Europe and America would LOVE Xi for his pro-migrant (but IMO anti-Chinese) policies, and even envy Xi as the dictator who has the absolutely unchecked power to carry out the pro-migrant agenda AGAINST the wish of the Chinese people. So, is democracy the answer for China? I can guarantee you, if Chinese have democracy now, they will elect right-wing, anti-African migrant leaders to rid China of African migrants. The only reason why China has open the floodgate to let in African migrants is because the Chinese leaders do not have to listen or be accountable to the Chinese people. If China has democracy and elections, Chinese will immediately elect their own Donald Trump, a right-wing anti-migrant populist leader, due to the current anti-African anger and anti-migrant backlash that have been boiling for the past few years. Also, seeing what happened to Chinese and in China in the past few years has certainly made me become more receptive to Trump’s anti-immigration messages. Which is why Trump is somewhat popular among Chinese, which has puzzled a lot of outsiders, seeing that Trump is also “anti-China” -- because a lot of Chinese are actually wishing, "if only we have our own Donald Trump who cares more about the Chinese people rather than those migrants." So, there, you've just learned something new today.
  5. The dumbfounded "this does not compute" expression of the corporate-shilling host is priceless:
  6. The DNC has repeatedly broken and changed its rules to do whatever it pleased during the primaries. Most recently, the DNC changed the debate rules to include Bloomberg in a debate; and then, after Bloomberg dropped out, it changed the rules again to exclude Tulsi and protect Biden from embarrassing himself in a debate. Ultimately, the DNC is a private corporation and gets to do what it wants - and chooses whoever it wants to be its nominee; in 2017, the DNC used that very specific argument in a federal court against a class action lawsuit by voters who complained that the DNC had rigged its own rules and denied them a fair and impartial election. The court recognized that the DNC had treated its primary voters unfairly, but dismissed the lawsuit in the end because the DNC was a private corporation, so it could do whatever it wanted. The irony is: the primary process of the RNC is way more democratic and transparent than the undemocratic, opaque primary process of the DNC, as the RNC does not have superdelegates who can override and overturn the decisions of its constituents and voters. (Which is why we have Donald Trump as the President, as the RNC -- which has a more democratic and transparent internal rules and workings -- tried to stop Trump in the primary, but was unable and failed.) Also ironic: if Bernie Sanders had decided to persist until the DNC convention and challenged Joe Biden, Bernie would have provided a cover for the DNC to broker someone else as the "compromise" candidate between Bernie and Biden. Now the Bernie has dropped out, the DNC is stuck with Biden -- if the DNC wants to maintain the facade it plays by its own rules, (which it does not.)
  7. It has begun... Donald Trump's first attack ad on Dementia Joe, and it's pretty devastating: Can't wait for the ad of Biden sniffing little girls.

  9. Say it once, and I am going to say it again. I am a self-proclaimed progressive and socialist, a former supporter of Tulsi/Yang/Bernie. And this is another reason to make me vote for Trump this November -- and all Republicans on the down ballot. Seems like I have already made up my mind. After the $1,000 emergency UBI that was first proposed by Mitt Romney, a REPUBLICAN, supported by TRUMP and other REPUBLICANS, then OPPOSED by Democrats, (because it REPUBLICANS had proposed and supported it,) but ultimately was enacted by the CARE Stimulus that gives: $1,200 + $500 per child + $600 per week, (in the form of expanded, all-inclusive unemployment benefits that practically cover anyone who is not rich -- including self-employed small business owners, independent contractors and the long-term unemployed,) to all low-income and middle-income Americans... What the US media have again missed — or deliberately hid: Now Republicans are out-flanking establishment Democrats, AGAIN, from the left. After Dementia Joe had said he would veto Medicare-for-All if he was the president, and now that the Democratic Party is moving towards the platform of OPPOSING single-payer universal healthcare in order to crush Bernie Sanders... Republicans have just taken the first experimental steps to move towards SINGLE-PAYER healthcare. I wager we are gonna see another big "surprise" coming in November, when Bernie has dropped out of the race and Dementia Joe is the Democratic nominee... Trump takes the opposite position of the senile grandpa: by proposing a single-payer universal healthcare, Trumpcare for all, to replace Obamacare. It will be the ultimate slap in Obama's face, another attempt of Trump to erase and wipe out all of Obama's legacies. It will be Trump's ultimate insult to Obama. That is what Trump loves to do, right? What will Dementia Joe and the Democratic Party run on? Their only play is “Orange Man Bad!” And identity politics and wokeness. I don't care nor buy into the Trump Derangement Syndrome. Don't care about identity politics or being woke. If Trump and Republicans end up being the one to institute a single-payer healthcare... then Democrats can go **** themselves, and I will vote for Trump for a THIRD TERM. Not what all the people in here inflicted with Trump Derangement like to hear, but that is how it is. And I can guarantee you, all the "Bernie Bros" will jump over to vote for Trump for single-payer. You can despise us as much as you want, but we vote for the policy we want, not for your "Orange Man Bad" derangement, and our votes adding to the Trump base will ultimately help him win the re-election. Getting outflanked by Trump and Republicans from the left on UBI. Getting outflanked from the left on Medicare-for-All. The Democratic Party has turned out to be such a HUGE disappointment. They have truly become irrelevant.

  12. Based on the projections of COVID-19 Projections website, using California as the example: California should be out of the crisis by mid-MAY, and lift the social distancing an stay-at-home orders by mid-to-end of MAY. On June 1, the projected "All Hospital Beds Needed" in California for COVID-19 will be 0, projected "ICU Beds Needed" will be only 1, and projected "Ventilator Needed" will be 0. (i.e., 0-1-0.) For today, April 7, the projected all beds needed is 3892, ICU beds needed is 1993, and ventilators needed is 493. The real purpose of the social distancing and stay-at-home is to prevent the healthcare system from collapsing, so when the needed beds, ICU beds and ventilators are 0 or close to, we should be clear. Florida will reach 1-0-0 by June 26. Also check the Deaths Per Day, (the second chart for any country/state.) The projected deaths in California for today (4/7/2020) is 49. It will reach 0 by May 20. Today China reported the first day without any COVID 19 death since the crisis started in late January, (if we are to believe the numbers that came out of China;) Let's assume California will lift the social distancing and stay-at-home at the same numbers as China, China lifted its lockdown almost a week ago, (a week before 0 deaths,) which means California will probably lift the lockdown during the week of May 13, a week before 0 deaths. Of course, we should consider that the social distancing and stay-at-home orders are not real lockdown; they are only a partial lockdown. China had a real national complete lockdown, which is more like implementing the martial law in America and the West. Which means, US states and the West may be more inclined to lift the whatever partial lockdown much earlier before they reach 0 deaths.
  13. If you are in America or Europe, this website should give you an idea about how long the lockdown in each country or US state will end: COVID-19 Projections Just use the pull-down menu to select your country or state. Just look for when the curve will drop down and hit the X-axis. For examples: California should be out of the crisis by mid-May, and should completely lift the social distancing and stay-at-home order by the end of May. For Florida, the situation will continue until end of June.
