Indeed, God created these forums to test the faithful. The posts must flow. -
*wipes away a tear* This has got to be the single most tortured metaphor I've ever seen on this forum. Now, now, no need to get emotional for a coffe break-metaphor. Besides, poetry and art has taught us more about the human condition than any thesis from a university. I now present to you, the most political video so far in this election. As in, how to not answer a question:

I'm sorry KP I try to not criticize you because my input seems to annoy you but I have noticed a real and perhaps concerning change in your overall views around ideology I have seen this many times before..first you rejected EU austerity and saw Germany as an enemy in the overall EU structure, then massive criticism of big business and the state of the US government and now we reach the point where its normal to use phrases like " states have become subservient to banks and other large corporations " , "interests of the ruling class which in these times are banks and corporations" and " Rule by private unaccountable entities is what Global Capitalism " Its standard left-wing hubris and vitriol against certain fundamental Western institutions, like the financial sector. it reminds me of something that Serb would say who you quote from RT....its all about anti-Western rhetoric for them end of the day, you should know they actually want to undermine and weaken the US. They not really interested in positive changes to your country But I did try to steer you away from this view.....but you basically dismissed what I said and of course you are perfectly entitled to believe what you want about the state of the USA but I hoped you wouldn't end up thinking like this It's easy to dismiss your view since you do not have to pay the price for its ramifications. The fact of the matter is that capital (money, wealth) is global, while the labour is local. Yes I agree, whats your point? I don't think that you are understanding what you're agreeing to since you have to ask what the point is.

Sadly it's because the Queen bees and their drones have no stakes in this colony. They go as far as claiming that the hornets are actually worker bees. It could be worse though, i've heard that in some colonies out to the west they are trying to establish certain privileges to the hornets, all while claiming that the worker bees are all the beneficiaries of such, thus ensuring that the conflict will continue. In the deepest halls the drone academies they are even proudly talking about ending "working bee"-ness or that peace will come to all of the colonies once the working bees have disappeared. The world has turned mad.

My personal enemies were Pop, Nur Ab Sal, Yushaa (remember when he threatened to kill all of us?) that friend of Pixies whose screen name I can't remember. Oh yeah and Krezack. I absolutely HATED that little prick. He's the only one on this board who ever actually got under my skin. Hades/Sand never even managed to do that! There were others of course. I never disliked any of them, except one, but I'm not sure the reverse was true. Krezack always had the shtick of even you said that you liked flowers, he would reply with you hating trees and you should repent for hating trees you flower-lover you. It got old pretty quick. Yushaa i think was the only legitimately Al Qaeda-supporter that i've met online. He quickly dissappeared when I convinced him that he had insulted my beliefs in the Sun being the almighty and he should, by his own logic, kill himself as he was kuffar to me. Huh, come to think of it, he's the only guy that i explicitly wrote "Kill yourself" to. Oh boy I'm not sure "well, it's a terrible place to have a reasonable discussion but hey, it used to be much worse!" is a great counterargument to what I was saying Worse? It had passion, fury, life! It was beautiful. -

I have to agree with Guard Dog. The Bush/Kerry election was a hoot at this forum, that's for sure. I don't recall specific bannings, but back then it was either about pro or anti-war, 9/11-conspiracies, threats of quitting the forum forever and lots of r00fles by Volo, of course. -

The first is "Veiled Truth" by Antonio Corradini. It can be found Capella Sansevero in Naples, Italy. The second is "Hercules and the Hydra". Found in London, England (i can't find which museum). Here's another example of what can only be produced by a patrarichal, sexist, misogynic and racist society: Behold, "Christ in the Wilderness" by Ivan Kramskoi, 1872. -

Another example of ableist, patriarchical, imperialistic, exclusive, cis-art with no other purpose to satisfy the male gaze: Look at that lack of diversity! look at the total lack of deconstruction of western and capitalistic society! We should be happy that we have finally grown up as a society and embraced better values than this toxic masculinity. Yuck! -

Good video. I posted this in another thread. It has related relevance here. I do wonder just how many have read Orwell or someone like him, let alone someone like Bernays, and realize just how steeped our modern culture and media are in doublespeak, and as a result doublethink and/or cognitive dissonance (though there is a degree of chicken and egg going on as the 'speak and 'think/cd tend to feed each other). And if they do realize it (by way of Orwell, Bernays, or some other), have they put any significant thought into it. The whys, the hows, especially. Methinks that on a society-wide scale, the answer sadly is not many, hence the relatively few very successful puppeteers pulling the strings of so many, and to the many's detriment ('Diversity is strength' is just one example). However on a hopeful note, I think a growing number do perceive the increasingly blatant danger of 'diversity' instinctively, if not consciously. Then again, if it's only ever instinctually perceived, that could ultimately portend disaster. It is certainly safe to say that for Joe/Jane SJW, Orwell and Bernays are beyond them. One can hope that at least for some of them, that will one day not be true. Perceive or not though, grave dangers not seen in some time in the western world are ahead for a large number folks no matter how you slice it at this point as a number of Rubicons have been crossed. Potentially on an unprecedentedly dark scale, as the 'diversity' we've got growing in Europe and North America is not peaceably tenable in the long run, no matter how many times 'lalalalalalalalala!' is lullabied. It's nice to see someone pointing out the influence of Bernays on modern society. PR, marketing, focus group testing and political campaigning is pretty much based on his ideas, and applied methods of such, about humanity. Watch "The Century of the Self" by Adam Curtis for more, the same guy who brought us "The Power of Nightmares". As for SJWs, one could try to argue that their views bear the same value as their values are based on a set of axioms just like any other idea or philosophy. But that in itself bears no merit as their axioms are faulty to begin with and they behave like emotional children once pointed out as such because they have no where else to go. Personally, i have been at war with this kind of thinking for a long while (long before Sad Puppies, Atheism+, GG and such) as i have great interest in the arts. Basically speaking, it's a perversion of beauty and how we view ourselves in our civilization. The pathos of a painting has to have structuralist/post-modern meaning that can only be explained through a curator from an expensive university, who in turn works as a middle man for galleries selling basically crap for millions of dollars as the rich need to speculate on safer investments than junk-bonds and derivatives. The result is that people like Banksy and a heap of dirt on the floor is worth millions and celebrated, all while art like this http://drawingacademy.com/serge-marshennikov-female-beauty-painter is while popular among certain circles, is treated like a random painter among the rest. The old wisdom of a painting being a failure as a visual medium if you have to explain through words is completely alien to these people. This cancer is the bane of our society. It is a rejection of truth, beauty and realism. -

This Black Pigeon Speaks seems to have come from nowhere with very good production values in it's (their?) videos. While i am not 100% behind each statement, it's nice to see some more coherent criticism of the current failed system. -
What do you expect in California, it must be the state with the most immigrants living in it and a large Latino demographic Trump has declared war on immigrants, I would be amazed if there weren't protests in California Why do you lie? He declared war on illegals. But anyway, since they are waving the mexican flag and beating up gringos in gringo country, they should be very happy at his proposal to be able to return to Mexico.

Protesters are reminding the people of California that Trump is a very hateful man (he had a really there IIRC): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjamIfoVkfY

Sure, if you have no idea what the term means. That definition fits SJWs to a t. Thanks for linking that definition because now we have a standard to measure SJWs by. In future, professionals should be able to address the root cause at an early age before the retardation sets in. Hiro does it not bother your moral compass that you can generalize about millions of people like you do? Calling all SJW insane or irrational or whatever the latest insult is Surly it must bother you a bit...just a smidgen? The truth hurts. -
Jim Webb. While they do have things in common, the symbolical value of it and the resulting lulz would be awesome.

Not going to happen. Such conditions are created with a multitude of factors independent of each other and aren't going to be controlled. I know that the removing the preconditions is in itself an ideal as changing the status-quo is essentially part of human nature, but i all i am asking for is trying not to add fuel to the fire: Like not actively engage in activities that result in societal destruction.
-
A modest proposal would be to try avoid creating the very preconditions that makes it possible for damaging leaders to emerge to begin with.

Completely meaningless argument unless you can provide reasons in themselves why anyone should take heed of what the people of Paris or Berlin thinks over what the people of the streets of Moscow say. Not meaningless at all. Its actually quite simple because its about the reality of how well a certain leader has done in running a country overall Putin has a very high approval rating in Russia yet the Russian economy is in a recession and Putin has mismanaged economic growth....yet he is still popular So if the average Russian citizen thinks Putin is a great leader and they think Trump is a good leader they either don't understand or care about economic metrics and how they reflect on a leaders true success So in summary if your economy is in a recession this is a bad thing, it doesn't matter if you have a strong military or if you control the domestic media narrative and the citizens "think you great " or " its the fault of the West for our financial situation " This is about the economic reality of any country and how the citizens hold there leaders responsible for that economic reality Did you just refute your own argument? Oh my. No I didn't and its not an argument but an observation based on economics and " what makes a good leader " Let me explain it differently, I dont think Putin is a good leader and I don't think Trump is a good leader Many Russians think Trump will make a good leader but they also think Putin is a good leader Many people outside of Russia, like the Germans and French, don't think Trump will make a good leader So who carries the most credibility on this topic? Is it the average Russian citizen or the average German or French citizen...and the topic being " is Trump a good leader " ? Again, the credibility lies completely between the representative of the nation and his constituents, as they are the ones he is supposed to represent and is accountable to.
