  3. Thanks for the laughs, Nate Silver:
  4. Oh dear, hahaha. Why not blame the most obvious boogieman on the internet?
  5. Source? Anyhow, another interpretation:
  6. There was a moment in Hillary's concession speech where she sounded like a human being, about when she talked about never giving up in what you believe in. I have to give her that.
  7. Until the actual election results I would have agreed with your friend because my experience is many people, including some forum members, did seem almost obsessed with the email scandal But I would ask your friend when was Trump homophobic, because I can recall when he demonstrated other forms of bigotry but not homophobia ? When he chose Pence, who is openly and actively against LGBT rights and protections and who thinks that conversion therapy is not just okay but better target for governmental funding than AIDS prevention, you know that he isn't big supporter of LGBT people. I wonder if Pence still thinks that ? Pence is an insurance. If anyone tries to get rid of Trump, they get him instead. Look back at Dan Quale and Bush; there were even rumors abound that the CIA would "take care" of Quale if anything would've happened to Bush.
  8. Yeah, I saw that when he held his president-elect speech, his little son to the right. Although, I got scary vibes from him. He never seemed to empathize with his father in anything that he said and done at the podium. Rather, his uncanny eyes peered in various directions, almost absorbing info about everybody there. He felt a bit like the little boy in Omen, if I let my cruel streak loose for a sec. Trump's Leto, Barron is the Kwizatz Haderach.
  9. Hey now, Canadians are more useless than Americans. And that tolerance stuff is a myth Have a simple entrance test: 1) Can they play hockey? 2) Can they drick a 6-pack of Molson? If not, they're out.
  10. No one wants to go to Mexico, not even the Mexicans themselves.
  11. As i predicted, Michigan, Ohio and Florida will go for Trump. As for what i think of the election result, i think that this song expresses my emotions better than words ever can:
  12. Id be interested in seeing your work if you are willing to share. I'll send a picture of it as a PM when it is finished.
  13. I am going to continue paint a painting, then go to bed, read a book, sleep and then go to work in the morning tomorrow. My thanks to the US board members and for America at large for this election!
  14. You cant be serious? Arent you tired of all the invective and grandstanding ? Low energy detected. On the contrary, this election has been full of vitality and entertainment. But like everything fun, it has to end, sadly.
  15. Well, the election is drawing to its end. It's been a fun ride posting this and that and too bad that is has to end already.
  16. In the entire of Europe, weapons are illegal. Yet, I do not see any severe need for a violent revolution. And no, not having a higher deity to believe in does not disable you from having morals. In fact, I'd go as far as to say BETTER morals come out of not believing in for example Christianity. For example the bible heavily punishes homosexuality. Is that a reason for us to do that? No. Yet we all are set on being Christian. We are not. We are cherrypicking the parts that we like, yet we forget the other. Can we please just accept that we moved on from that moral standard? And in a Christian worldview, any form of crime is not severly punished anyway, because in the end, we all die and those who believe will come to God. Thus, assuming everyone believes, a crime is inconsequential. It is such an unimportant event in comparison to the eternity with God. On the other hand, for someone who does not believe in God or an afterlife, the current life is all he gets, which makes any crime highly impactful, and any punishment highly consequential. And an ideal on its own is a very dangerous thing. And the same goes for religion. Many religious people committed terrible crimes, many atheist people committed terrible crimes. But I know of no group of atheist which committed a crime because of atheism, while there are hundreds of examples of theists who committed crimes because of religion. But that is a problem that exists with every ideal. The human rights deal with that problem very nicely btw. Look at article 30 I disagree. Without any core sets or absolutes to work as a foundation you can rationalize anything, as in anything goes. When trying to use reason alone to build an utopia on earth one will likely end up shooting those that do not want to take part of it, which has already happened the last 100 years or so. Since the state has taken the role of reverence in the place of the sacred and you have the monopoly as the state to use violence, it is possible to wage war at a large scale than local skirmishes. To understand what i am getting at, look at Faust, Dostoyevsky and Nietzsche. I am speaking from a western perspective of course, different rules apply for other cultures.
  17. Without a divinity or higher principles for humanity to transcend to you will either end up with nihilism or the worship of a state based on ideologies. Recent history has shown that you end up with in a lot of trouble when you try to enforce that when the citizenry cannot even defend themselves.
  18. God made men, Colt made men equal.1) there is no God2) there are two reasons guns and really any sort of weapons create problems: 1. The possibility to legally posses guns makes it easy for criminals to aquire heavy weapons, thus making them much more dangerous 2. Due to the former reasons, a general opinion is created that one must own a weapon to defend himself, whereas of weapons would not be legal in the first place, that general sense wouldn't be there. The government should have a monopoly of violence. And here is why your argument that weapons make men equal is flawed: they don't! Really, any kind of limited resource creates inequality: there are those who possed the recourse and those who don't. And that is a huge problem, and any attempt to work around it has failed so far. Take for example kommunism. While on a purley philosophical level it is a great idea, in reality it does not work out. However, this does not mean that we should totally avoid fighting against any form of this inequality I previously described. And this is especially true for weapons. See, aside from money, I know no good where the gap between those who have it and those who don't is so big as it is with weapons. It creates a situation where having them is the clear advantage. But if everyone has weapons, that only causes the problems I earlier described. Lets see now, atheist, thinks that the state should have monopoly of violence and that communism is philosophically sound. Now where have I seen this stereotype before?....
  19. They had great cancer research and made great discoveries in the field of rocketry. But i heard that they had underwhelming results with the social sciences as their very leader bullied into suicide by foreigners. What kind of lies are they teaching you in Germany?
  20. The article rightly points out is that classical liberals have been against PC-culture as they were the first to be affected by it as they share the same university and college campus with the SJWs. However as many have noticed, the failure of the classical liberals to curb PC culture, partly i think because their own liberal principles are used again them, and now the next natural progression has been Trump who is simply an atheist to PC ideals. If he fails, then expect the pendelum to crash in their faces even harder.
  21. Western Europe cannot into deals
  22. You see no inconsistency between going from whining endlessly about how "the ebul feminists want to curb ARTISTIC FREEDOM to draw boobies in video games and call us bad names because we like boobs" to whining endlessly about "the ebul politicians talk about consuming ART THAT I DON'T LIKE in private emails and are therefore probably child sex traffickers or something"? "I masterfully baited you to call out my misogyny by behaving in a misogynistic manner! Look at me, such a masterful manipulator I am", he yelled happily. Ah, so there is no difference between fighting back for artists to be allowed to draw boobs as they wish with the political apperatus claiming to be goody-two-shoes acquiring satanic imagery involving children and other questionable content. Funjugs are the same pederasty, got it. And we all know that joking about women is inheritly misogynic, thanks for proving my point that no fun allowed, once again.
  23. Hey look, that was easy:
  24. Sounds more like you are the one with coping-problems as you were the one to cast the first stone. Also, you still fail to lay out what exactly this inconsistency is and how it relates to juicy stories of goody-two-shoes being exposed as not as such, so i will leave it here. ...and here i thought that i couldn't be more obvious in baiting you to raise the misogyny-card and you fell for it, hook, line and sinker. For shame.
