  1. That's why I support Nintendo when it comes to console, they are really the only company on that market I have an ounce of respect left for, and that's mainly due to two men; Hiroshi Yamauchi ( who has now retired, and even declined his pension as he believed it could help the company better ) and Shigeru Miyamoto. But yeah, Sony is very much the Japanse version of Microsoft.
  2. The X-Box 1.5 can have KotOR III for all I care. .... KotOR IV on the other hand better come to PS3 as the inferior hardware of the X-Box 1.5 doesn't really impress. But, I will of course play them both on PC.
  3. I care. If there is a KotORIII I do hope it's made in the Jade Empire engine at least. ... The Unreal 3 engine would be sufficient as well.
  4. Jedi Masters. Why? I simply enjoyed chasing them down and then killing them.
  5. .... The worst? I sincerely hope you're kidding as Sonata Arctica is without a doubt one of the best bands to ever grace this earth. Their lyrics are ingenious, their instrumental side supreme. And "Don't Say A Word" must be the most FLAWLESS ( not best, just flawless ) song I've ever heard in my life. No, I think *YOU* lack taste. One of the worst metal bands to ever come out of Finland would be Nightwish simply because there was a point at which their music was wonderful. Then came MTV mainstream, and their lyrics, along with their uniqueness was completely removed. Tarja's voice was completely and utterly butchered and lost all its charm. Well, maybe not worst, just most tragic.
  6. Interesting. And here is my contribution:
  7. Right, murdering someone and then locking him in a closet, only to later deny any involvement is the same thing as saying no to a male trying to hit on you. What?
  8. I don't mind gay romances personally, as they merely add more freedom to the game, and yet another option for those who desire it. But what I would really like to see would be some more twisted romance options. I'm growing sick of the oh so rehashed "boy meets girl and loves her for eternity" concept. Quit making them so bloody shallow, and start making them interesting. Less "pure innocent love," more deception, death, and suffering. As for the people opposing gay romance options. Why? It's obviously a path you won't ever explore ( or perhaps the urge to do so is simply far too powerful for your feeble minds to resist, teehee ), thus it won't really affect you. Or maybe you just feel sick knowing that it is in the game, which is rather dumb as it would be like me calling for a ban on good alignment characters since I dislike them. If you don't want to engage in a gay romance, simply refuse whoever proposes to you, or sever his head with your lightsaber. Whatever, the choice is yours. And RPG's are after all about making choices, don't diminish them simply because some of them don't suit *you*. Because if we all did that, we would be playing extremely boring and monotone games.
  9. Huh? When did anyone say anything about that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you play the game as DS Exile he drains the Jedi Masters, and steals their power/knowledge in a very smiliar fashion to Nihilus. He's also referred to as a "wound in the force" by the Council.
  10. Really depends on the setting. If it was a straight out fight ( which I'll just assume it would be! ) Revan wouldn't stand a chance. The Exile, much like Nihilus, is apparently able to absorb the force powers of others, so Revan would be destroyed and drained rather quickly. However, Revan is the better strategist and "smooth talker" by far.
  11. I played Revan as Female only to be able to butcher Carth later on. Yes, he annoyed me so much that I had to become a transexual for the sake of killing him. I also wasn't too fond of the male faces in KotOR. I'm not into the whole cave-man look. I played Exile as a male in KotORII, however. Yay for pretty male faces.
  12. The ending made the entire game pointless. It sucked like nothing I've ever seen before. The ending alone CRUSHED the rest of the entire game for me. It was simply that bad. I don't really see how anyone can see anything good in it at all. It was rushed, it was ugly ( KotORII simply has awful CG's, yuck! ), and it was utterly pointless. A good cliffhanger ending is something that should leave you in excitement and curiosity, not anger and disappointment.
  13. In usual cases I'm really against piracy, especially when it comes to RPG's since I have quite a lot of respect for the prominent RPG houses. However, when it comes to KotORII I really wish I had downloaded this game instead of buying it. Why? Simply because it's a grossly unfinished product. In all my days of gaming I've never been let down by a game this much. It's probably because I had some expecations on KotORII to begin with, however. It has nothing to do with money for me really. It's principles.
  14. Personally I like Nihilus quite a bit. I only felt that he was given far too little screentime. Nowadays when every villain has to be a mastermind bishie it's rather refreshing to see a villain who's just driven by his basic instincts. And it doesn't get much more basic than hunger. That goes for pretty much every opponent in this game, sadly. Even the final boss is no exception, altho I found the floating lightsaber trick pretty neat. Oh well, Nihilus had his extraordinary bridge at least.
  15. I personally think Nihilus would destroy them all. I mean for crying out loud, the guy consumed planets and Jedi constantly. The only reason as to why the Exile won, was due to Nihilus stupidity in trying to drain him, another wound in the force. So yeah, I think Nihilus would just consume them all.
  16. Yes, I will. Altho I was heavily disappointed in KotORII, I can understand why it turned out that way, with LA being publishers and all. However, I've been a huge fan of BIS since Planescape: Torment, and simply adore their dark stylistic writing. It's quite unique, and very satisfying.
  17. Nihilus of course. That outfit was something out of this world.
  18. I must admit that I'm quite fond of Vash when it comes to purely appereances, thus I voted on her. However, I found Kreia to be the most appealing female in the game all and all. Visas had a lot of potential, but the whole "Force Sex" thing was just utterly retarded. And I felt she wasn't fleshed out all that well.
  19. Okay. Game balance does in no way relate to storyline. I mean, have you ever seen a Jedi Master yelling "NURF TEH SITH!!!" as you pwned him with your "l337 Sith Lord skellz"? Didn't think so. Yes, the bosses were weak. I'm pretty sure even T3 could take Sion on. However, it just doesn't make sense that a newly initated Jedi like Atton would be able to fight Sion, a Sith Lord, on equal terms. As for the cut out ending. I read it, and enjoyed it. It had big consequences, it had a fairly good closure, and it gave a lot more depth to Kreia and the oh so faceless Sion. I'd really like to see it being put in.
  20. The fix solved my horrid FPS issues on Dantooine. I'm using a Radeon X800 XT Platinum, as well.
  21. Why? It certainly sounds good enough. The fact that you can get actual words by playing it backwards is just a nice bonus for those who felt like doing a little extra work. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Too high expectations. I've always been a big fan of the Sith and their beliefs. So, naturally I expected the True Sith to be something out of this world in terms of power, appereance, and knowledge. I guess I just find the whole "speaking backwards in English language" idea pretty dumb. However, I'll just hope there's some really good reason for it.
  22. Revan. Vaders armor is just such a huge turn-off. Not to mention that the cry-baby Anakin ruined a lot of my positive feelings for Vader.
