  2. Hello! game version 1.0.4.2 patch I’ve encountered an issue with the Russian localization in The Outer Worlds 2. Some UI elements and dialogue skill checks display broken or untranslated text instead of proper Russian strings. This happens in several places, including: Dialogue skill checks (Speech, Intimidate, Lie, Science, etc.) Interactions with terminals and locks Various in-game prompts and tooltips On the English version everything works correctly — so it seems that some localization keys are missing or corrupted in the Russian .locres files. Below is an example of the issue — please see the screenshot. Could you please forward this to the localization team or confirm if an updated Russian language pack is planned in an upcoming patch?

    Crafting recipes not showing up in the in the crafting section even though I clearly have them in my inventory so obsidian I will hope your addressing the issue ASAP cause you give us this system so if we need to use it I have even tried reloading a previous save to no avail I also have restarted over did not fix the problem so I won't be playing it till you get it resolved...
  4. @Hawke64 I stumbled into the City of Anarchy ending. Lou got mysteriously thrown out of the window of her hotel during the day, and it turned into a jolly Anarch town with Katsumi in charge. By the end of it, I'd done all of the side missions for those three characters and had positive responses from pretty much every character I'd met. So apparently, when everyone is positive to you, and you It defaults to Katsumi as the winner.
  5. Yes, I've tested it in my game and that is exactly what's happening. The explosive resistance applies to both damage received and damage dealt, sadly. I'm running an explosives/engineering build and really want to be able toss a grenade at my feet! 🙂 Obsidian, could we pretty please get this issue addressed in the next hotfix/patch?
  6. I finished helping Hogarth with the automech parts and afterwards he refused to talk to me so I moved on. After finishing other quest and getting the quest The Brain Benders of Auntie's Choice one of the objectives said talk to him but no conversation is starting. He's still acting like I just finished the automech parts quest and saying the same lines of dialogue making it impossible to continue the quest. Don't really have any idea on how to fix this but this is where I was told to report bugs. Thanks for any help!
  7. Hey LOVING the game so far!! Ijust have a small issue; I searched the map questing before proceeding to choose minister milverstreet's storyline, but i only chose to when inez's side quest was prompted and when i went to him they argued and she quit. Afterwards i was given the quest 'The brain benders of aunties choice' which requires me to speak to Vigilant Hogarth in westport. The problem lies with the fact i have already done Hogarth's quest 'The saga of the malfunctioning mechanicals' so when i go to speak to him in regard to moving his people to westport there is no dialogue option to begin 'The brain benders quest' and he keeps saying how he should change his mind on outsiders I cannot even start 'The brain benders' questline now it just says to speak to Hogarth regards andrew
  8. I tried to explore most of the island before I touched the actual story content and wound up getting the mechanical parts for Hogarth and Westport a while ago in my save. Now I'm back at Westport and have convinced the three people to leave but have not been able to trigger a conversation with Hogarth. I even tried sabotaging the three facilities afterwards and the only thing that changed was some of the town npc chatter mentioning the most recent sabotage. I'm almost 20h in and would rather not have to restart the game from the beginning just for a single side quest.
  9. I've completed the robot quest, hejlping (Saga of the Malfunctioning Mechanicals), and now done all the -nice- things to help the citizens of Westport (no sabotage), it tells me to return to Vigilant Hogarth, but I can't initiate dialogue with him

  11. I've dabbled my way through it now. It's a very odd feeling to play. It's got got an interesting story and some characters I would like to know more or have things happening with. But, you don't actually get that much engagement with the characters apart from a lot of fetch quests. It's got a really atmospheric downtown section of city.. that has almost nothing to actually do in it. The representation of Clan Disciplines is yet another weird blend of I both like parts of what they've done and loathe other elements. So it's a lot of disjointed sensation. But the combat mechanics annoy the bleep out of me, and has pretty much nothing positive for me to say about it. Plus, the way they've done the ending is disconcerting. You have all sorts of build-up on characters reacting to your conversation choices throughout the game "was irritated by that" "was pleased by that" "found that interesting" kind of thing going on, and then for the whole last sequence you have no engagement with any of those characters and there's some arcane logic of which one of 6? endings you get depending on some combination of those results, but no real suggestion of which did it. And apparently, a couple pretty much overwrite everything else you choose to do. And the ending themselves get presented in this incredibly shallow "60 second review of the aftermath" with no interesting details of surviving characters you met along the way.
  12. I am having problems with the do more harm quest as well. I can't talk to Miles the moment I go into the sealed door room.. please fix this obsidian!!

  14. I'm having this same problem as well and have reported it. I already had the parts and have briefly entered the Vox relay prior to talking to Hogarth. I'm not sure, but it feels like something about that sequence of events is breaking the resolution to the Malfunctioning Mechanicals quest.
  15. I have the exact same issue. Playing on PC Game Pass. Read people elsewhere with the same problem. First patch dis not fix it.
