At first, sorry for my english. It's not my first language, but i hope you understand me, though. It's just a suggestion, but it would be cool, if that could be implementated, because... You can add at least two new items: - Samaras - maple syrup Samaras could be used as supportive helicopters to buid higher structures and the seeds which be found inside of samaras can be planted in the garden patch to get stems The maple syrup, on the other hand, could be used more versatiley. For smoothis and/or meals etc. And maybe as ingredient for the fuel for the helicopter. And of course, just a snack.

HYPERseal started following Combat music volume slider?

Hi there, first time post. I've been playing a heap of G2. It's great. One thing I think would be a great accessibility improvement would be a slider to adjust the volume of combat music. I'll be happily minding my own business in the park and a spider or scorpion will aggro and the music will start blasting my ears. I get that it is supposed to invoke a certain intensity, but sometimes it's a bit much.

I know a great idea for grounded two, I'm just gonna cut to the chase and say there has to be more types of buggy's and I think I found a way to in corporate a really awesome one the trapdoor spider. I don't really care about if it even exists in America but think about it when you're riding one you can go underground and loose enemies it wouldn't have much health but would be fast with a higher stamina bar and could carry things the nest for it wouldn't be the normal spiders nest it would be one underground please share thoughts on this

I have not been able to sprint in my world or any others once I hop on a mount and dismount. The mount fortunately can sprint, but my character does not. There are time i need to sprint jump, and cannot. Please work on this infuriating bug!

There should be flies and they are docile but they can try to steal your food in the process throwing up(what they do realistically) and when they do you can collect it with your canteen and stuff and put your canteen on a cooking spit or stove and you can cook it to make it solid and you can use it as like “fly glue” to make certain level 3 stuff

Nintendo Switch 2 Grounded Patch
Taylorbu replied to xPabl1to's topic in Grounded: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I also created an account to parrot this idea. I would love an excuse to play grounded 1 again on the switch 2. Please update the game for the switch 2!- 8 replies

I built a base around the oak tree, so I spend a lot of time harvesting grass and stems at the base of the tree. I'm having problems with enemies spawning inside the roots of the tree. I've noticed this in particular in roots near the trash can and on the north side of the tree. Also, I was next to the tree when "Somebody" attacked, and the spawn point for the enemies appeared to be inside the trunk of the tree, where they join with the roots. When enemies are inside the tree, they can still damage me and my buggy, but my weapons bounce off the tree instead of damaging enemies.

The oak and the house had the same thing in 1. I built a very long ramp to the top of the house as a possible base, but when I tried to stand on the roof, I fell through it. There are mushrooms part way up the oak in 2, which suggests the developers think we might build up there. (And I did). The other problem with the oak tree is that enemies get stuck inside the roots. They can attack me from in there, but my weapons bounce off the tree.

Omni-Tool and Creature Thoughs
Alicia replied to Shane Gallimore's topic in Grounded 2: Feedback & Suggestions
I agree with points 2 and 3. Sometimes, my buggy gets in the way when I'm busting things. It would be more convenient if the buggy could chomp everything I have the ability to bust. Another possibility would be allowing us to use the omnitool on tier 2+ resources while mounted. When I'm on my buggy and in front of a pine needle bunch, a message telling me to upgrade my tool pops up; once I get off the buggy, the system realizes I already have a level 2 ax and lets me chop it. -

Where to build?
Alynxkia replied to Curiouspandora1296's topic in Grounded 2: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
If you’re looking for scorpion free, there’s a stack of wood holding up one of the legs of the snack bar that’s easily accessible right at the start of the game and it’s really close to the Ranger station. There’s also the log fence that goes around the picnic table area and a fair portion of those logs have ropes going between them that you and/or your buggy can use to go between them. You can build bridges between the ones that are not setup for walking on the ropes. There are several trees in the yard where if you build upwards towards where mushrooms that are on them you’ll also find a fairly safe location from scorpions. The podium comes with some enemies around the bottom and on top, but there are some sections at the top that let you build out from it giving you a very high base. -
Read Osamu Tezuka's ODE TO KIRIHITO. This is a very good - but very difficult - read. Human, fallible characters are brought to (or near) ruin by their - or others - greed, lust, desire, ambition, or need for revenge against the backdrop of a mysterious medical condition creeping out of a small isolated town in Japan. Some very human unpleasantness surrounding the fantastical elements.

I also liked the base music in Grounded 1 and would welcome its return though I wouldn’t mind if a few other tunes rotated with it while at the base. So far in Grounded 2, I like the one that sounds like a music box that reminds me of the slowed down version of the Gravity Falls theme.

Hello! Firstly, thank you for Grounded and Grounded 2. Grounded quickly entered my Top 3 games of all time, and I am constantly trying to get everyone I know to play it. I will preface everything with I know it is currently in early access and many things are still in development, so these are just some of my thoughts 1. Omni Tool - I love the concept, but currently do not enjoy the mechanics of its use. I would love for it to be able to be bound to a different key, as having it set with the same button as interact has me constantly getting back on my mount, or unable to interact with anything around materials like blades of grass or things that require busting. OR - and this would be my dream scenario, have a dedicated button to pull the tool out and have it held in your hand, and be able to cycle through its different modes (or just automatically switches to work with whatever you click on like it is now). That way it solves the inventory space issue, prevents the unfortunate overlap with interact key bindings, and lets me click to use it and feel like I am still using the tool rather than holding down the button (which takes away some of the immersion for me personally). I also hope that there are weapons/items in the future that can double as chopping/busting so if we want to carry those around and use them instead we still can. Best of both worlds? 2. I love the mount system, but need them to stop walking in front of me when I hop off to harvest resources. 3. I would love a mount that can do busting damage to break stones, acorns, pinecones, etc. (maybe also clay even though that is not busting?) Something with a hard head that would just smash them or pincers to crush it. Being able to have a mount Roly Poly that you ride around like Raya and the Last Dragon would be awesome. Maybe a centipede that would be a mount for up to 4 players, one to steer in the front and the 3 others have a section to sit on in the back? 4. I would LOVE to see a Hercules Beetle or Stag Beetle that can throw rocks/players. Maybe even as a mount too (which could work for point 3.) Stick and Leaf Insects could also be cool to include, hiding on stems and leaves. 5. I really hope that if diving bell spiders are included again, there are actual diving bells that can be found underwater and used! (and maybe underwater base building somehow???) Thank you for reading and thank you for including the community on the game development process. I am so excited to see where Grounded 2 goes!

I don’t know about the cicada noise from a personal preference standpoint. That aside it seems like they would be a neutral until attacked insect for us but get into fights with hornets…actually it’s more like the hornets would pick fights with the cicadas. Crickets are listed in the winter update so look forward to that. Dung beetles could be interesting. If gardening had a stronger focus in the game, I’d say that armor set could provide gardening perks, but gardening is limited in grounded 1 & 2. We could craft a new shovel using their shells. Maybe collect dung as another fertilizer. Dung beetles can be territorial towards their own kind. Maybe the dung beetle armor set has a consequence of triggering their aggression when otherwise they would be passive. I haven’t quite figured out what the perk would be yet to offset that negative.

Random Texture Bug
Jans posted a question in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Technical Support (Spoiler Warning!)
Hi, Does anyone know how to fix this texture bug. I'm playing on gamepass if that helps. Intel Arc A750 -
I’ve been playing grounded 2 since early access and apart from going up the statue of burgle and the podium feels too empty and flat along with finding the outposts. Apart from the suitcase, it feels too bland because of the lack of puzzles unlike in the first game, I feel like the point of buggies to get from point A to point B as fast as possible and race through grass but there’s nothing to stop for and at that point the world feels empty from the lack of puzzles and it being large and it feels like that everything is stuck to the outside and there’s nothing in the middle of the map.

Wouldn't mind beetle type bug that has a buildable saddle, that we could add pallets to for more harvesting. being a single player its a bit much to make so many trips for wood.
