  3. I agree with increasing the following distance. I don't know how many times I have tried to cut down things, or pick up stuff and I am suddenly riding my buggy.
  4. (Spoilers) I have progressed through the story "so far"... and the raids have stopped for me... I thought I would like that.. but I kinda miss them cause it adds a little excitement from gathering supplies and building bases that I may or may not use depending on how the new content is added.
  6. First of all, thank you for all the work you’ve put into the game so far. I’ve been having a great time playing and exploring everything it currently has to offer. Since I really enjoy it, I wanted to share some constructive feedback from my ~55 hours of play to hopefully help improve the Early Access experience even more. Balancing End boss: Feels too easy because you get a lot of healing items right before the fight. Environmental effects: Heat is extremely punishing (coal area kills in ~3s) while cold is barely dangerous. Few ways to protect against heat. Trinkets: Power levels vary a lot – some are very strong, others barely worth using. Weapons: Robot Arm (hammer) – huge damage, AoE, and fast stun. Daggers – can one-shot almost everything except mantis/wolf spider. Mosquito Needle – combined with good armor, you’re almost immortal. Ranged weapons – slow, low damage, no block option. Fists/daggers – hitbox too small, tiny bugs are hard to hit. Gameplay Spider riding & fall damage: Sometimes you take far more damage than expected, even from small drops, leading to instant death. Plants in bases: Trees and pine needles often grow inside structures. An option to disable plant spawns in built areas would help. Bee loot: Bees drop very little fuzz, slowing progress. Resource scanner: Often points to materials already collected or that don’t exist. Bugs Flying insects: Bees and butterflies can get stuck high in the air, never landing or respawning. Enemies in terrain: Some spawn inside objects or underground. They can hit you, but you can’t hit them. AI pathing: Insects often get stuck, making them easy to cheese. Infinite fall gaps: Getting stuck falling between tight gaps until using a mount. Shop: Pebble foundation recipe stays for sale even after multiple purchases. Performance After several hours of play, stutters appear when performing new actions, and occasional crashes can happen. Final note I’m really enjoying Grounded 2 and plan to keep playing. These points don’t take away from the fun, but I think fixing them would make the game even more polished and balanced. Thanks for all the hard work – I’m excited to see where it goes next.
  7. When in Brisbane, I would use SPF50 even when just going shopping for 9 out of 12 months of the year. Australia and New Zealand have some of the highest skin cancer rates in the world https://www.cancer.org.au/about-us/policy-and-advocacy/prevention/uv-radiation/related-resources/skin-cancer-incidence-and-mortality Roughly 15000 cases with 2000 deaths annually. That’s in a population of about 25 million
  8. Hey, I’m having the exact same trouble. I’ve finally managed to get rid of the egg that was being tracked but now my other markers still aren’t showing. What hot key was it that you used? I can’t figure it out
  9. When i load my game, if i was somewhere high on a leaf or something. When i load in my buggy is knocked out confused and we are on the ground. please fix so we are on the leaf still safe when loading in.
  10. While I don’t think it would be a native plant just growing in this game, it could be in a pot. It could be positioned somewhere to be problematic for the player, or it could become a plant that we could get seeds from and grow to defend bases.
  11. Is it just me, anybody else? When I dismount my ant in caves or under branches, if it is not enough room above me, I'm stuck in the ceiling or whatever. I couldn't find a way to unstuck but to give up. If it was too difficult to solve this collision problem, why not at least add an unstuck option in the menu, like other games do?
  12. Maybe a Venus flytrap would be cool in grounded
  13. Fixed (2025). About what you would expect from the trailer. Basic smut comedy that gets a few laughs out of you.
  14. So I was thinking with the whole omni tool stuff and tiers maybe with buggies we could get Omni fangs or Omni pincers or even just be able to upgrade buggies to make it easier to gather resources. And maybe just be able to customize their saddles more. Also with customizing I think it would be neat to add more customizing to the game like little tags for character specific things like the shield could have different doodles and such.
  15. Fighter seems to be mostly focussed on getting aggro and tanking. I really like the spear and I would like to play offensive spear, like the daggers, in a way. So either the existing armors have multiple effects depending on the weapon or some extra armors in the same tiers, same ish materials but different effects? Like something related to spear throwing (spear comes back to hand? spear stacks for better throwing ammo?) or keeping distance or getting the combo's or using it 2-handed for increase in damage but less defense/block or whatever is possible. Hell, this shouldn't be constrained to just spear, all types of weapons could use it, like the swords and clubs. Make something separate for more offensive play. Hell, I think even the other weapon types could benefit from something similar. While that would clutter the ui, a sorting or filter option would work wonders for that. This is inspired by a video of the content creator but I totally agree. It would be cool to see something like this, for more build variety or something similar. Game is fun so far, keep up the good work, I'd say.
  16. Hello there, Julian from France here. I have a suggestion : When we started the game, we built a base next to the frist lab. Then, we decided to move away, and choose the lab south west of the icecream truck. We left the structure (walls, basement) at this place, but we moved every furnitures one by one : it's an ant work !! As it's possible to move furnitures to very very far away, I would really enjoy to be able to craft : a Trailer for my buggy So we could put like 10 furnitures inside, when we decide to move out to another place. We will have to make some travels to move everything, but at least, it would be faster, and I am pretty sure most of people would love this feature, specially more "casual" players : I mean people who wouldn't want to farm a lot to rebuilt everything, or the move items one by one. I am not sure I ever saw a trailer in an other game.
  17. I have been playing grounded 2 hard since it's release. It's as addicting as G1 was. But I have noticed some difficulties and issues with the game. While it's super cool and just as immersive as the first game, it's also still new. As a player of both this the Ark Survival Series of games, every developing game has its setbacks. This is what I've noticed so far. 1: Bugs get stuck in the map, meaning they can attack you but you can't attack them. Ants, Spiders and Scorpions are the biggest bugs with this issue. 2: Getting thrown back to the homescreen in the middle of playing. It happens several times in a two hour period and if you are fighting O.R.C bugs or building it can really be a pain in the butt. 3: I've noticed some jittering and lag in certain parts of the park. Particularly by the picnic table and the ice-cream box. 4: And lastly, the biggest issue I have is keeping the vegetation from growing through any area I build. I am constantly having to move walls and floors to cut it down and keep it from blocking critical access points to my base build. Not to mention grubs wandering through my flooring even when it's off the ground. Digging grubs out of a floating peblett foundation is strange to say the least. All that being said though, it's by far the most fun I've had in an early access game in quite some time. I look forward with eager anticipation for the future and what the developers have in store.
  18. At first, sorry for my english. It's not my first language, but i hope you understand me, though. It's just a suggestion, but it would be cool, if that could be implementated, because... You can add at least two new items: - Samaras - maple syrup Samaras could be used as supportive helicopters to buid higher structures and the seeds which be found inside of samaras can be planted in the garden patch to get stems The maple syrup, on the other hand, could be used more versatiley. For smoothis and/or meals etc. And maybe as ingredient for the fuel for the helicopter. And of course, just a snack.
  19. Hi there, first time post. I've been playing a heap of G2. It's great. One thing I think would be a great accessibility improvement would be a slider to adjust the volume of combat music. I'll be happily minding my own business in the park and a spider or scorpion will aggro and the music will start blasting my ears. I get that it is supposed to invoke a certain intensity, but sometimes it's a bit much.
  20. I know a great idea for grounded two, I'm just gonna cut to the chase and say there has to be more types of buggy's and I think I found a way to in corporate a really awesome one the trapdoor spider. I don't really care about if it even exists in America but think about it when you're riding one you can go underground and loose enemies it wouldn't have much health but would be fast with a higher stamina bar and could carry things the nest for it wouldn't be the normal spiders nest it would be one underground please share thoughts on this
  21. I have not been able to sprint in my world or any others once I hop on a mount and dismount. The mount fortunately can sprint, but my character does not. There are time i need to sprint jump, and cannot. Please work on this infuriating bug!
  22. Yesterday
  23. There should be flies and they are docile but they can try to steal your food in the process throwing up(what they do realistically) and when they do you can collect it with your canteen and stuff and put your canteen on a cooking spit or stove and you can cook it to make it solid and you can use it as like “fly glue” to make certain level 3 stuff
  24. Same issue here. Been doing this since launch day of Early Access. Xbox Series X, S, Cloud and PC. Super frustrating!!!!
  25. I also created an account to parrot this idea. I would love an excuse to play grounded 1 again on the switch 2. Please update the game for the switch 2!
  26. I built a base around the oak tree, so I spend a lot of time harvesting grass and stems at the base of the tree. I'm having problems with enemies spawning inside the roots of the tree. I've noticed this in particular in roots near the trash can and on the north side of the tree. Also, I was next to the tree when "Somebody" attacked, and the spawn point for the enemies appeared to be inside the trunk of the tree, where they join with the roots. When enemies are inside the tree, they can still damage me and my buggy, but my weapons bounce off the tree instead of damaging enemies.

  27. The oak and the house had the same thing in 1. I built a very long ramp to the top of the house as a possible base, but when I tried to stand on the roof, I fell through it. There are mushrooms part way up the oak in 2, which suggests the developers think we might build up there. (And I did). The other problem with the oak tree is that enemies get stuck inside the roots. They can attack me from in there, but my weapons bounce off the tree.
  28. I agree with points 2 and 3. Sometimes, my buggy gets in the way when I'm busting things. It would be more convenient if the buggy could chomp everything I have the ability to bust. Another possibility would be allowing us to use the omnitool on tier 2+ resources while mounted. When I'm on my buggy and in front of a pine needle bunch, a message telling me to upgrade my tool pops up; once I get off the buggy, the system realizes I already have a level 2 ax and lets me chop it.
