  2. sorry double post: a very good front liner who will be very self-sustainable despite the self damage- as long as he kills - is a Berserker/Beckoner or Troubadour. Max INT + INT items and a pet that heals +20 on kill. Amra as main weapon and 25+ MIG (rel. easy with the help of Frenzy and some +2 MIG gloves). High CON is also good. The key is to use Carnage and Amra's Riven Gore to accidentially kill your own skeletons while you attack the actual enemy with Bleeding Cuts. First Bloodlust will help you to speed up after any kill, you will get healed after any kill (including skeletons) which is a lot of healing. Then after getting Blood Thirst there will be no recovery after kills, the build turns into a bleeding cuts tornado. The only thing is: this is not a tank per se. If there's nothing to kill (quickly) he can do down fast. And party members with low health (under 50) can get instantly destroyed from Riven Gore while the Berserker is still confused. So better stay out of Carnage range. First you use Ancient Brittle Bones (Beckoner is the better pick), later Many Lives Pass By (Troubadour is better). You can use that also as Berserker/Fighter with Mob Stance on top of all the killing which makes it even more crazy (and sturdier) - if you have a Chanter in the party who can provide skeletons for you. But then you really really shouldn't go near this guy as party member.
  3. Since you'd like a shield: I played a pretty straightforward main tank with an offensive twist for my party - made from a human Streetfighter/Devoted, themed as Gladiator. He used the Gladiator's Sword (obviously) and Bronlar's Phalanx (also kind of mandatory for the theme imo). Since swashbuckler Edér (no subclasses) always worked perfectly well for my parties in terms of tankyness, I thought that using a Streetfighter/Devoted shouldn't impact the sturdyness at all but improve the dmg output a lot. And it did. As main tank he will get flanked almost always, so no need for distracted or other "artifical" flanking shenanigans - just tank stuff and unlock "Heating Up" in the process, increasing recovery speed a lot and adding more sneak attack damage. Also Gladiator's Sword has incresed PEN (if enchanted fully) and the Devoted adds +2 PEN on top. That's +3 PEN with the sword for all pierce and slash damage which is great. Monastic Unarmed Training for enemies vulnerable to crush dmg. I'd use Hold the Line and Mob Stance for even more speed, Abraham for the speed and heal on kill. Large shield modal makes sure I don't receive damage much from spells while you can still move around with Escape. DEX could be a bit lower, PER a bit higher (to counter the -8 ACC from large shields). Armored Grace and Riposte obviously... I think I used Reckless Brigandine iirc for the added engagement, +AR when at low health and the added speed via engagement. I liked it very much because it performed a lot better than I expected. I guess it would work well with any good one-handed weapon, but Riposte and Mob Stance might favor battle axes with bleeding cuts. Against lower level kith the Magistrate's Cudgel should be absolutely devastating (crit => instakill => Cleave => maybe another crit and so on), but maybe then Mace + Devoted isn't the best pick (crush only). Stalker's Patience should also be great bc. Riposte and Cleave can trigger the recovery skip. It was a "hands off" character though - I didn't need to manage him a ton (like you would need to manage a Monk or so). I didn't even bother with special attacks like Crippling Strikes or so because he was a meat grinder just with auto-attacks. Used the Guile and Discipline for other stuff. Some players like that for their MC, others want "more to do" for their Watcher.

  6. My buggy (Susant III) disappears quite often, after fighting and me healing it, it just disappears, not able to be called, just gone, my friend’s has died and been knocked out plenty of times but it always stayed. I pet Susant III a lot, and she still just seems to want to leave
  7. From the leaks I’ve seen, It shows that there will be a ladybug buggy, and a mosquito buggy, although these could be scrapped at any moment so don’t quote me on this lol
  8. I gathered more planks on my buggy than I have pallets for. How can I drop them? Only way I found is to send the buggy to its nest and then they are left outside. Is there another way?
  9. it looks for the same items in all nearby connected chests, for example if you have a food chest and a crafting material chest even tho you hot deposit in the material chest, every item that you have in your inventory that is also present in a nearby chest will get hot deposited.

  11. Bows shred these guys. The tail is a weakpoint for bows and a perfect charged shot does fat dmg and staggers.
  12. just put the meat in storage. if it spoils, now you have fertalizer. im sure the fridge will be making a return in a later patch as well. might be a little strong in the survival aspect if you could stack good meals.

Hi, Why not give players the opportunity to bond with their Grounded 2 pets/mounts further, by ensuring they 'care' for them over time (e.g. sharing food, petting and giving them rest between missions, etc). More games need to bake EQ into their design, and this is a great example of how Grounded 2 could do that for impressionable young players.
  14. Hi, Grounded 2 story, seasonal or festive themed live events could spice up the mid and end game for players across the map, and extend the co-op experience further. Hopefully people can rally behind this idea, by not only voting for it, but also suggesting ideas for live events as they learn more about the story.
  15. same here, it is way to often, that you won't be able to sink a little bit of a building part into the scenery/world (like in grounded 1) that way it doesn't allow for great constructions
  16. I wanted to harvest resources at the start of a new game, so I immediately think: pebblet axe or, pebblet hammer. I go into the crafting menu on the new SCAB.B 2K and see no option for the most basic tool ever. Instead I have to use a weird looking thing called an omni tool. To use it, I have to press (instead of the right trigger like any of the weapons) the X button, which feels completely wrong.

  17. First off amazing game so far, little crashes here and there but to be expected but everything else 9/10. With that being said I few QOL things I would love to have in this game 1. a Build all or a change to super build. make super build apply to any connected piece would be nice to hit super build if i can make multiple items and it fill in all the things im making. I.e if i have ten pebble foundations if I super build on one and have enough it should fill out all possible connected pieces. This would be nice and make sure it applies to all base building items. 2. a pick up all nearby items PLEEEEEEASE for the love of making an incredible game please and a hold to pick up and it picks up all nearby items such as if you break rocks or sap or other items. not sure why this isnt in the game already but this would be amazing thats all I can think of for now or at least the most importantant, will add more

  19. I had this issue playing co-op where my friend got kicked out of the game (due to his internet crashing) while I was reviving him. His body disappeared but I got stuck doing the reviving movement, everything was still happening around me and if I clicked 1-8 it would highlight a different tool but nothing would change. He reloaded into the game and respawn at our base, his backpack spawned in front of me out of nowhere but I still couldn't leave that position. No command would work and I had to force quit the game. Now I have a random backpack showing on my map but nothing is there because I didn't in fact die
  20. Hello! I have been more excited for this game than christmas. Honestly, I love it so much and have little complaints so far. OMNI-TOOL: I do disagree with above comments regarding the Omni-Tool, I like it and hope you don't remove it. I do however agree that it can be pot-luck pressing "E" as you may be trying to pick something up but then end up cutting grass. BUGGIES: Just unlocked my first buggy (thank you so much for not letting them permenantly die), think he's cool, but it would also be great if we can upgrade them. (Again, only just unlocked it, so not sure if that's an option already). I would ask if possible if we were able to keep "fighting" and "speed walking" whilst the "hold E for vaccum" stays active, instead of having to turn it back on after battle or running. IN-GAME BUGS: I've attached a couple of images of bugs that I've come across. When I built my base, it was great. I then logged back in the next day to find 50% of the walls i'd placed were now diagonal. I've also noticed that water droplets sometime don't recognise that they have "fallen" or that the blade of grass is no longer there, so they just float until you shoot them down. I agree with the above comments regarding bugs getting trapped in logs and stones, you can hear them, but you can't see them and they can't attack (worked to my advantage so far tbh lol). LIKES & LOVES: I honestly just love G1 and G2 so much. I know G2 is still in development, but thank you so much for having such a good turn around for the sequel. I know things are expected to change via feedback, and honestly, I think you've all done great with this. THANK YOU! DISLIKES: I AM SO MAD AT YOU FOR PUTTING THE O.R.C WEAVER IN THE ANT CAVE. I SWEAR I WENT INTO CARDIAC ARREST. THAT WAS STUFF OF NIGHTMARES. P.S: Did I just read that ziplines are no longer a thing? Please bring them back if not, they were part of the fun

  23. Version 0.1.1.3 Rel 1954911 Since the update overnight i can't interact with the crafting menus or storeage boxes. I'm playing through Game Pass via the Xbox app on windows 11. Has anyone else encountered this? If i try to move something from the storeage box to my inventory the game force closes too. The option to right click on items doesn't work, the menu flashes and immediately closes before you can interact. Hope it's not just me.
  24. What it says on the box. Orb weavers are fine, but wolf spiders are in their full, horrifying "glory" when looking at the Data menu regardless of settings.

  26. Hey guys, I think I ran into the same issue where my shared world suddenly broke the game menu and could no longer 'Continue' my shared world game. With my Xbox Series X, I went into the game's 'Manage Game & Add-ons' option and cleared the reserved storage space only. I did not clear my user data. This seemed to restore functionality in the game menu. I do not know what consequences there could be from clearing the reserved data, so please do your due diligence before doing it as I'm not responsible for any data loss.
  27. I watched 16 minutes or so of that War of the Worlds on Prime, while elliptical-ing. I can safely report that yes, it is "worse than you think." Can't even blame the trailer-maker for making a terrible trailer. It's just that bad. lol Edit: that guy who played ... agent Coulson? in the Ironman/other movies has a role. Rumor has it this was filmed around Covid - perhaps they were all filming in their living rooms?
