When combat ended the combat log showed correctly that the mercenary rogue was healed for 1 health.

Then I unequipped the belt and equipped it again. This produced the two strange messages.

All Wall of xxx spell does not show correct string.

    This appears while perusing the spell's description during character creation, before anything is actually set for the character. No idea what could possibly determine a damage reduction for the spell at this stage.

    Two Weapon Style: *Missing string 4040*

    It may be a stretch to call this a missing string problem, but I figured I'd drop this here:

    This was on my main.

     

    Let the record show that I named my main "Charname" ironically. Perhaps Deadfire's using charname as a throwback token and it results in this error message?

     

    I ran into something similar, I got the same line after a quest completed, but nobody actually levelled up.

    In this part of the conversation with Himuihi, the mouseovers for both Ranger and Orlan icons have a *missing string -1*

    The missing string shows up again for orlan in another part of the conversation with her.

    Got the CharacterStats:Nonameset thing again and a claim of level up after finding a hidden trap

    At the WIndswept Shrine, the Monk, Cypher, and Druid mouseovers have *missing string -1*

    This one may just be due to where the beta ended, but after the beta end message, if I re-enter that tiawara (sp?) temple ruin, I get a *missing string 6* in place of the usual descriptive text.

    I don't know if this counts and it's not actually my screenshot. In another thread, dunehunter posted a screenshot with a combat log of firebug hitting *missing string 97*. https://forums.obsidian.net/topic/95293-casters-are-still-slow/?p=1968443 I highly suspect that those rotghasts (which featured often in Josh Sawyers videos of the testing sandbox) are summoned via console, which is why I'm not sure if this counts.

    What class is that hired adventurer? I'm gonna guess either monk, cipher, or druid since those have exhibited the issue elsewhere.

    Missing String for the panel for hiring Ship Crew for the Watcher's vessel. Missing Strings for Race and Level, also their upkeep is literally set to zero and if you try to recruit them it causes a crash  :grin:. This happened for me at least, would like to know if anyone is seeing something similar.

    Missing string for a Dead Explorer in the final boss fight in the beta, where the name label above his head should be.

    The description of the ability "soul annihilation" has missing string 335.

    I've found quite a few of these since the recent update. A lot of missing item images as well. Prior to the update there were very few. Sorry for being vague but there are a lot...
