I got a question about the meaning and the use of an item:

Oaken scarab figurine

It summons scarabs and ... And ??
I found it somewhere and Ido not know what to do with it. Does it matter in the story later on<? Or should I sell it......

Oo I thought they suck. OK, thanks a lot!

Figurines can be really good in tough fights they can block enemies and distract them from attacking a characters. Generally help when you feel overwhelmed. 

They're incredibly useful for solo play as well.

Even if they are completely underpowered in the late game they can still eat some nasty disables that would otherwise hit you.
