That sounds plausible. I just wanted to object the statement that PER is always the most important stat per se.

And Might is rarely under 14 in my builds.

I forgot about the Belt of Chimes which gives +25conc and can be obtained from a minor adventure.

    And you may have to use a lot of scrolls (defense, valor, protections against x)

    I have a hard time playing with more than two casters, and I rarely use priests. All those "Prayer Against" spells just feel so cheap.

    Yeah, I don't think I have ever really played with a priest - I do take Durance along for his quest but only keep him around for that. Priests are powerful but to be honest I don't really miss them. I don't like having to many casters anyhow -  I always have a druid and chanter. Works fine - way less micro managing and I don't find buffing loads of fun.

    I'm not saying priest are fun.

     

    I'm not saying priest are necessary.

     

    I partially agree with the prayer against stuff are not an excellent design. There are too few compromise between being totally immune to a given status and being vulnerable enough to be ****ed by a CC graze.

     

    I'm just saying you feel the difference when no priest is around.

     

    PotD is mostly about +15 to accuracy and defense. Priest buff can do way more.
