Any chance you guys could look into later on making the game available for psn and Xbox live

Is there any chance for GOG release?

I would highly doubt this. GOG doesn't do F2P releases, which is something this is at its base.

Now with the impending initial release just around the corner: what is the projected timeline for a Steam release?

That, and what's the rough timeframe for online or LAN multiplayer? Looking forward to playing it with my friends :)

Well, it's releasing in a manner where pass and play is built into it. Online multiplayer information is supposed to be around the corner after release. I'm not sure LAN is something to keep your hopes up for, depending on how things will be ran on their servers and with its built in hot seat play.

Hmmm, I'd expect LAN to be easier, essentially going hot-seat over a network... But it's likely not on their list, I know.

They could just release the $25 season pass content as a full game.  Just a thought.

Why reprogram the entire thing? The in-app purchases and ingrained always online pieces also go against GOG's publishing standards.
