Barbaric Blow+How does it work in 3.01?

Question

I've question about Barbaric Blow:


 


-in 3.01 it says, that crit multipliers no longer works for carnage


- but AoE should still works as 1,25 effect, though when I test cursor area attack, I see no difffrence  area between normal attack and  attack from Barbaric Blow


 


does it really works ?

The barbarian has very few things at affirm, and it is still nerfed? ^^! OMG^^

 

The goal of the barbarian is an efficiency on the groups... Plz obsidian don't nerf again the barbarian : p

 

He have really few things already.
 
Worse, in high levels...
 
Nerf barbaric blow its very bad idea...
 
Wizard :
+15 accuracy (level 1)
50 % speed alacrity.
A lot AoE powers.
Fireball and a great list of power. 4/Rest.
With citzal spirit lance for the same effect of Barbarian...
 
Barbarian :
Variable improved accuracy : Threatening menace + Brute Force (2 talents spend...)
33 % speed Frenzy
Carnage little AoE
Heart of the fury on the little range of carnage. 1/Rest
 
Dragon leap / Echoing shot = useless or not practical.
 
Ranger :
Lot of accuracy.
Shot behind + Twin arrow
Pet do 100+ damage in endgame.
Wounding shot (double damage overtime) 2/Encounter.
 
More, ALL the class CAN now have the stranger frenzy (talent multiclass) +25 % speed per encoutner. So the barbarian have no more interest.
 
The barbarian can't compete...

A misguided response is better than no answer for me. Others may tell you the rest. I'm not programmer

 

Probably increasing range/size of carnage is apply but not crits of carnage.

 

easy to understand...

While playing PoE for the first time, I ran into this "text bug". After searching to figure out what the +25% ability aoe meant when it also said carnage was not affected, I ended up here.

 

It has been several months and a handful of patches since this bug report was created and it still hasn't been fixed.  A text tweak should be a 5 sec fix barring any localization hurdles. Can some dev make sure this bug wasn't falsely marked as completed?
