[bug] Geyda doesn't appear stronghold for second time

Geyda asks me to help her with her research, and I decided to pay her for hiring mercs to catch as many monsters as she need. After 4 days she returns to my stronghold and wait for audience, but doesn't appear in the hall, so I can't speak to her. Probably it's a case with another audiences like this.

I have the same problem. I gave Geyda 2000 coins for her research. However, after she is supposed to return she does not appear in the stronghold again. But the log says that she appeared.

Not only is she not showing up, Azzuro isn't either.

We currently have a bug where if you pay their way during the dilemmas that it will bug them causing them to return when they shouldn't. This bug has been fixed and will be in the 3.02 patch.

I'm pretty sure I didn't pay her, but sent Eder as an escort, and I'm suffering the same bug.

Will the fix be retroactive? As in, can I continue playing and Geyda will come back at a different time? Or I'm screwed.

One last question. The retroactive fix will make Geyda (and other visitors) appear again, even though I've missed the timeline right? I wouldn't want to advance time and play if this is not the case.

Probably not. Would be difficult to execute.

Just encountered this bug, when is the 3.02 patch due to come out? (or where do I find information on it) if I save now and wait for the patch with 6 days left to speak to Geyda will the patch cause her to appear, or will I have to load an older save from before her return? or way back before her initial arrival?

Visitors do return to the stronghold to visit, but it takes quite a bit of time. I have written up a bug that visitors take too long to return to the keep while others do not. But as for the issue the OP posted. That has been fixed!

I did try to pass time (36 hours) and I still don't see Geyda. She should be in the main hall right?

Are you on 3.01 or 3.02 beta? The issue is resolved in 3.02.

Same issue, Geyda isn't showing.

There is an indication she'll be leaving in a few days in the Current Stuff tab (with the least of prisonners & the current missions), yet does not appear in the castle, nor her arrival is recorded in the log.

Patch: 3.02.

I'm having the same problem with Geyda and Azzuro. I think I must have all the updates too, since I have all my Steam games set to auto-update. I gave Azzuro 5000cp and was told he was waiting at Caed Nua but nothing happened. It now says Geyda is there, but she isn't.

It doesn't seem to be resolved as of 3.03 live (and was not in the patch notes anyway).

 

Geyda isn't in the Main Hall of the keep (after travelling back and forth to Caed Nua).

 

Notes: Iirc, I had chosen the 2k gold option.

 

Given the time between patches / the main focus of the dev being on another project, this bug might not be solved :S

I have this issue (PoE 3.03, OS X, Steam) with Geyda on her second visit, looking for a soul prisoner to steal.

 

"4 Tarestu, 2823: Hour 5: Geyda, an animancer, has arrived requesting a prisoner to conduct experiments on. She was nearly set upon by brigands on the road, but your patrols intervened."

 

Earlier, I sent an escort with her to Heritage Hall when she first asked.

 

Note that Lord Sidroc arrived they day before and was waiting in my Hall when Geyda supposedly arrived. I cannot find her anywhere in Caed Nua, not even in the Dungeon.

Tested in the 3.04 (beta?): the bug is fixed (though I don't think it was fixed in 3.03 nor it appears in the changelog).

 

I also realized that it was less important than thought, as any reward is received when Geyda leaves the stronghold for the 1st time.

Playing v3.04.1165 PX1 PX2 -steam version.

 

Recently received this quest well after November 3rd (when 3.04 hit), so I do not think it got resolved in 3.04.

 

I may be mistaken, but the first time I think I let Geyda practice her animancy on some animals in one of the forests (sorry I can't recall specifically).

 

She came back again with the "Geyda, an animancer, has arrived requesting a prisoner to conduct experiments on. She was nearly set upon by brigands on the road, but your patrols intervened." message much like lolmer had described, but she is not in my keep nor in my dungeons, and I have no idea how to resolve the issue

 

I do have Aefre (one of the bandits who were harassing nobles in Ondra's Gift) in my dungeons, if that helps.
