Ok so I started a new game just to mess with it and am seeing that a FEW weapons are adding the accuracy bonus but most are not.  I started the game off with a Rapier and it was adding the +5 accuracy as when I wielded a hatchet I had 5 less accuracy.  I then leveled real quick and got Weapon Focus Knight.  The Battle Axe does add the +6 but Swords do not.

This is going to make my PoTD run even tougher...

update.  Fighting in combat seems to rectify the issue and accurate values show in the rolls and on the char screen.  Why am I up at 3am looking at possible bugs when I need to be up in 4 hours for work.  I have issues.

I don't know, I'm seeing half the accuracy I should have. I literally lose 30 points on every character, so it's not just one source.

I don't want to enter combat to see if that fixes it, it's disastrous.

I just cleared an entire temple and I can confirm that if you do fight your weapon accuracies will be back to normal.

i have the same problem here. it seems that weapon speacialisation is ****ed up too. i just hired the devil of caroc and specialised her to use pike and warhammers, but she have no accuracy bonuses for thoses weapon, but show bonuses with spear and other non related weapons.

Like I said. Use the weapons in combat and the bonuses will work and change on the character sheet. At least there is a work around unlike Barbarian Frenzy.

Is the combat-fix permanent? Or until the end of combat? My fear is that your first shots go wild, unmodified by accuracy.

The "inaccuracy" of your accuracy is just a character sheet thing.  If you read the combat log on those files the game is rolling your correct accuracy not what it says on the character sheet.  And yes it seems to be permanent after the weapon has been used.  (3 hours of playing until 4am regretting it at work today hah).

Permanent would imply post-loading; during the same session does nothing.

Also, I'd be wary. It's been proven before that when something doesn't show up on your character sheet, it's not actually working. Accuracy is notoriously among them and actually sets the precedent for being problematic, back when weapon focus wouldn't show up -- it also wouldn't apply.

Either way, this needs to be fixed ASAP.

Sorry, just looking to confirm. Can I continue playing knowing that the accuracy will be correct when fighting? Or are my weapons now completely inaccurate?

It's starting to look like when the next expansion is launched I'll have to wait a few weeks before buying it so it's playable... :(

I can confirm the bug. Very annoying! In 2.0 I didn't experience this - but maybe I just overlooked it. Now - with 2.01 it's there and pi**es me off... I have no Idea what you are doing there or how awful your code is, Obsidian - but as a software developer I have to say this doesn't give a very good impression. :(

Im not a programmer all I have to go on is the combat log and the character sheet. And I know that the combat log is 100% right every time and the math adds up to the damage my characters are doing.

update.  I came home and logged back and the correct accuracy was once again not correct on my character sheet.  Again I started combat and in the combat log it was correct and the entire parties accuracy was correct after I got into combat.  It was correct in the combat log as well.

Have gun will travel.

Maybe. But why on earth is it different on the character sheet? Shouldn't the combat log and the sheet get their numbers from the same sources? If not: WHY??? And if they do: how can this UI bug happen then? It's really frustrating. They fix one bug and produce two other.

If you look at the beta forums there is a topic about it and the a Dev confirms that's its just a UI bug...I hear you though.

Have gun will travel.

Hello everyone,

I have confirmed the bug and written up a report. Its just a UI issue, it does not affect combat in any way. Those bonuses are still there, it just doesn't update correctly until after combat.
