Downloaded the patch, no problem. I am very disappointed that after all this time, the main quest-breaking Icantha bug is still not fixed, however. When encountering it months ago, I flat stopped playing, having no interest in disabling my achievements by cheating or modding the game to fix the problem.  I waited patiently, playing other games that work consistently, even mentioned the bug at the Obsidian booth at Gen Con.  This is a known issue, how has it not been addressed yet?

Hey, docstout. I am not sure of the exact issue you are referring to, but I am checking up on this bug with QA to see what the status is.

According to QA this bug was resolved in the 2.00 patch. Unfortunately, the fix may not be retroactive if she is already hostile. You may have to load up a save previous to when you encountered the problem.

You might want to poke your Kickstarter backers... nothing has been released since 1 july, and the DLC release came totally out of the blue sky for me as result.

The only reason I came here was because the game auto-patched and no news entry attached... GOG-gamers wont have that warning either.

Until today I was on the BETA 2.0 of "Pillars of Eternity" but after bought the extension and installed the new files (about 2gb) the game version is now 1.0.5.0582. I checked the PoE "cache files" on steam and there are no problem. I checked to go back to the normal game version (without the 2.0 BETA files) and steam is now currently in downloading 4gb of new files. I Think there are a problem with this files update.. and I hope I will solve the situation !

 

Otherwise, congratulations for the "White March" release. I hope there will be many more !

It was 1.8+Gb beta patch before expansion.

It's really hard to live in the back of beyond, where the only "broadband" I have is wildblue satband - with extremely limited download bandwidth.  It would be really cool if there was some other way to get all these many gigs of content.
