Heijoushin
The forum's kinda quiet (considering the expansion is coming out in under a week), so I made this poll to kill time... What new sub-types would you like to see? Personally, I was disappointed that the monks never got unique individual orders. They're just dumped together... evilcat
None. I do not think that we miss subtypes, or that they will bring anything to game. What we need: + More abilities to choose from (especially for martial classes) + More talents + More high end named weapons + Better crafting (more enchantments) + Barbarian NPC + More important Stronghold + More fleshed out companion stories, possible with some benefit (free talent or epic loot) + Godlike PC being notice by NPC and story and world. (My Head is on fire dude, someone bring water please) Ofcourse what p2.0 brings is very cool. Just there is so long way to go before vanity things. You dont need subtypes if there is enought abilities/talents so you can make your own subtype. Subtypes are even worse, since it will end that you have this cool idea for your class, but to do that you will need talents from two different arbitrary subtypes, since someone thought it would be good split (it is not). Better let players make their own subtypes with versalite character creation. Edited August 19, 2015 by evilcat
AndreaColombo
I agree with evilcat 100%. "Time is not your enemy. Madscientist
I do also agree with evilcat. About epic weapons, I don´t like soulbound, class specific or slaying ones.
Spirtikus
Im fairly new to the forums etc so I wanted to ask if we are getting any type of AI for the companions in the next patch? (Somehow I think Iv read that we are)That would be great. At least to have companions auto attack when idle or something basic like that. Eder: 'Can I pet him?' Just focusing on subtypes for a sec though... it's true, with talents you can generally specialize as you see fit. However, for classes like priests or paladins, their deity or order is a big part of their identity that can't be decided by talents. If nothing else, it really influences the role-playing side of things. Im fairly new to the forums etc so I wanted to ask if we are getting any type of AI for the companions in the next patch? Yes, I believe that in all the articles they said that AI was one of the new features... Edited August 19, 2015 by Heijoushin
gkathellar
Kits are effectively the same as groupings of new class abilities - and new class abilities are pretty clearly what we need, for the purpose of expanding archetypes. If I'm typing in red, it means I'm being sarcastic. But not this time. Dark green, on the other hand, is for jokes and irony in general.
