Annah Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Strange people around here :D "We all live under the same sky ... but none of us have the same horizon"
Gromnir Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 You ****. is this a first attempt at beings ironic on obsidian boards? HA! Good Fun! "If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and fallacies, to avert the evil by the processes of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence."Justice Louis Brandeis, Concurring, Whitney v. California, 274 U.S. 357 (1927) "Im indifferent to almost any murder as long as it doesn't affect me or mine."--Gfted1 (September 30, 2019)
Gramcrackered Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Like a couple of the others said - somebody mind giving an explanation for the slower members of the audience?
aVENGER Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Hmm, wasn't Blackamoor the unconfirmed name for BIS' canceled project Jefferson (aka BG3)? IHMO, the ex-BIS and now Obsidian developers should be the least to blame for that unfortunate event...
Exitium Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Who, pray tell, is Blackmoon? Exitium RPG Codex - the premier avant garde gaming news site. "It is more convenient to follow one's conscience than one's intelligence, for at every failure, conscience finds an excuse and an encouragement in itself. That is why there are so many conscientious and so few intelligent people." - Nietzsche
Sammael Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Hmm, wasn't Blackamoor the unconfirmed name for BIS' canceled project Jefferson (aka BG3)? IHMO, the ex-BIS and now Obsidian developers should be the least to blame for that unfortunate event... No, the name of that project was The Black Hound. And I am sure not all the Obsidian founders are absolutely blameless. There are no doors in Jefferson that are "special game locked" doors. There are no characters in that game that you can kill that will result in the game ending prematurely.
kumquatq3 Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 So, no one knows what the hell "Blackmoon" is?
MERLANCE Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Uh, Eye of the Beholder 2 was Darkmoon :D That was a D&D game. I assume that that has nothing to do with anything, though.
Ewen Brown Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 just searched google and i still have no idea Winterwind
Sammael Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 don't be starting that now You are right, I'll start it when the employees actually show up. There are no doors in Jefferson that are "special game locked" doors. There are no characters in that game that you can kill that will result in the game ending prematurely.
KC-Tang Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 Google turnes out with: Blackmoon (GBA) by Skaven Software Blackmoon (some sort of ftp server) Blackmoon (some sort of expansion to Odyssey) by Cryo Blackmoon (some sort of bishoujo/hentai RPG) So much for any actual names.
Ewen Brown Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 don't be starting that now You are right, I'll start it when the employees actually show up. now you're talking Winterwind
The Griffin Posted February 8, 2004 Author Posted February 8, 2004 Er... sorry, a bit out of left field I guess. It's on the off-chance that Avellone reads these forums, since I no longer have a valid email address. Which I'm sure was part of his master plan.
Chris Avellone Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 Er... sorry, a bit out of left field I guess. It's on the off-chance that Avellone reads these forums, since I no longer have a valid email address. Which I'm sure was part of his master plan. I used to GM a Warhammer Fantasy RPG where Griffin used to play a sinister wizard called Blackmoon. During a heated game session, Blackmoon bought the dust, and while it has been many, many years, Griffin will never let me forget. Nor should I.
Vermillion Posted February 8, 2004 Posted February 8, 2004 ahhh...thats why...makes sense. "It is not about the destination, its the journey that matters..."
