Finding Durance after dismissing him

Hey,

 

unfortunately I dismissed Durance by choosing a dialogue option by accident (therefore I'm not completely sure what exactly I said to dismis him). I though that I would be able to choose him again in the next tavern, but he is not available for me anymore - and the last save is a while ago.

I tried looking for him in his original location and a few tavern, but can't find him anymore - any ideas?

AFAIK, if you tell durance to leave via dialogue, you're pretty much telling him to take off, never to return again - not to take a rest in an inn/back at your stronghold.

I might be wrong, but i fear the possibility is very real that you can't get him back..

Well, I let him DIE at Anslogs Compass and he was right back at the Statue where he started, when I next went past there

Is there any console option to locate - or relocate - him?

Also, his quest "The Trials of Durance" is still active. So either I should be able to find him somewhere, or the quest should be ended as failed.

He may be at the following locations:

 

In the stronghold somewhere, most likely Brighthollow.  In fact, if you got the strong hold go there, bring up the Stronghold interface (H button by default), and select party management and you should be able to put him back into your party that way if he's there.

In the Black Hound Pub in the Gilded Vale.

On the road by the statue where you first picked him up.

 

If he's not in any of those locations then I dunno where he could be.

If you told him to sod off in dialogue, I think he's gone-gone.
