Ouroboros226 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Imo Eldritch aim is currently way to weak and situational due to its 10 second duration. Currently my bow-mage is only granted 2 attacks with Eldritch aim, and that is with 20 dex. I can imagine it is even worse for gun users. To think of it, it is also bad for 2H... actually... this spell is just bad overall! How about changing this spell to last for the next 5 attacks instead like the iron skin mechanic? Do you guys like this idea? What do you think about eldritch aim atm?
Blovski Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Um, it's not actually that weak because that bonus applies to spells as well. A bit counterintuitive but the use is coming just before a big AOE spell to get a load more hits and crits off it.
Mungri Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Change it to only affect weapon hits? Lol no. You use it to get more hits and crits from your fireballs or kalkoths missiles.
Vasya Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Do you guys like this idea? No. It's good that you invented such interesting build as bow wizard, but it's a bit too much to ask developers to change game mechanics so that your build would work. Eldritch aim is awesome spell at potd difficulty, it does not need rework. Edited April 15, 2015 by Vasya
Mungri Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 15s is all you need to unload your entire spellbook anyway. Maybe I need to cast eldritch aim on the insanely difficult ogre cave on Potd, I didn't realize it would help at the time.
Ouroboros226 Posted April 15, 2015 Author Posted April 15, 2015 I did not consider using this for spells like this, duh I see your point though. I guess its fine as it is.
