April 4, 201510 yr Author delta means just the difference. A delta patch is created by comparing the existing files with the new ones. That way there can be very efficient patches which will just replace/change the bits that are necessary,

April 4, 201510 yr Amazing, I can get patches faster for the game by pirating than via the service I PAID FOR. Guess where I'll be shopping next time, GOG.
