dukeisaac
I just want to mention how awesome it is to have a regular and meaningful presence from the devs on this forum. I followed a few over the years, always for games I was really looking forward to (and coincidentally also have a large and long standing fanbase) and this kind of hands on presence is really rare, IMO. Keep it up.
BAdler
It was a genuine question. As far as I understood the process of these things the areas are basicaly "screenshots" of what is actually built in 3d, so it seemed that it's extra work to make it 2d after that, especially if they would look exactly the same (due to no paintover). Most of the 3D meshes that are used in the renders are not game engine ready. Many of those meshes would need to be decimated and the textures would have to be down-resed before you could use it in game.
IndiraLightfoot
Haven't we already run this pun to death in another thread? Does this mean we might be dealing with the pundead here?! Oh no! We must be dealing with pundemonium. We'd better find the Pundemonicon and exorcize any bad puns from this world in earnest! This probably is how big head mode canoniacally was first encountered in the Project Eternity world. 1 I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man

Sorry both of you, it is far too late to save the forums, much less this threads. Any puny efforts made at this point will serve little purpose. You may even be causing extra punitive damages with your words!
