Yes, if it had been a single player game with the crappy parts of the content and the necessary evils of the MMO format (like respawning enemies) thrown out, it would be amazing. (And still about 60-80 hours long per class.)

Actually, during the recent 12x Class Mission XP event, people were going 1-55 in a matter of hours, with the record being like ~8 hours last I checked. That probably includes spacebarring through dialogues so double that number if you want to get a fair representation of the actual amount of content. Everything else are MMO time sinks designed into the game to sustain, as Althernai surmised, the subscription model.

Not all non-class quests are garbage in the game, and with the skipping dialogues thing you mentioned, I think the actual number would be closer to 30 hours per class (with about half of the quests being non-specific). Assuming that one's completely ruthless in trimming content, of course.

BioWare have chaning policy, they are not just making games, they are a propaganda agent now, they will put in whatever those "hidden hands" told them to, BioWare is just a puppet. Believe me it is not the buyers who give them money, but something or someone else, so they don't care about rating or sales, they are just working for their master

I don't see it as a propaganda tool, they just have their corner of the market which they dominate because of their unique product. No one make the games that BW does, these big soap opera style games. It makes sense that since their consumers are looking for that unique product, and that it has some mass appeal that they will stick with their formula.

But really, it was the Jews though.

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

If no one make a game like they did it doesn't mean it's unique, it just no one make such.

And they have lost their identity since DA2, they now making a game mix of everything taken from other games, totally not unique

So, Bruce, are you taking Nerf to the coast cottage. How did that go, anyway, sorry to ask, asking for a friend in need of confidence asking out a super-hot paramour.

No, BW lost its identity when it made Jade Empire and then when it made Mass Effect 2 and then when it made Dragon Age 2...I'm beginning to think that BW has a dissociate identity disorder of some kind. That or people that become enamored with their games often find themselves waking up to the reality, BW has always been BW. This is just part of it.

Many of us had our introduction to fantasy RPG through the early games of Bioware. My greatest RPG of all time was BG2, Throne of Bhaal

Over the last few years there have been mixed support for Bioware with many people believing that Bioware had betrayed the principles and glory of previous RPG that they had created and the company had declined in its ability to deliver quality and engaging games . DA2 was arguably the pinnacle of this failure ( I enjoyed DA2 but I understand the criticism )

And now we have DA:I , I have always maintained that this was there last realistic chance to deliver a quality RPG to fans. The feedback seems mostly positive. So what do you guys think this means for Bioware?

Has your faith been restored? Do you support Bioware again and look forward to future games? Lets hear your overall constructive feedback both positive and negative original.gif

I just saw this topic for 1st time and I cannot stop laughing.

So funny, Bioware and return to former glory. HAHA!

They only got further away from it!

In the past I bought their games, then I pirated their games, now I don't even bother pirating. That is their "glory"!

Come to think of it, this topic would look much better being a poll like "Biofans, how do you feel about Bioware after playing DA:I?" and four options: "love", "hate", "couldn't care less", "quit with this stupid question already!".

You know which one would dominate, Bruce, don't you? ;) I certainly do.
