0 Bester Posted December 2, 2014 Author Posted December 2, 2014 Oh, it also happens with characters' weapons and shields. Not with the characters models, though. So I imagine it shouldn't be happening with their gear. Example: 1 IE Mod for Pillars of Eternity: link
0 Hormalakh Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 It seems like there are two instances of a 3d renderer, one for items and props and one for models. The models one seems to be much more robust in terms of quality of textures, but more prone to breaking (see big head mode). This seems unoptimized. You should really only need one 3d renderer. My blog is where I'm keeping a record of all of my suggestions and bug mentions. http://hormalakh.blogspot.com/ UPDATED 9/26/2014 My DXdiag: http://hormalakh.blogspot.com/2014/08/beta-begins-v257.html
0 samm Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 These texture problems are issues with the LOD, not with "multiple renderers". (Or I'd be very surprised) Citizen of a country with a racist, hypocritical majority
0 Sensuki Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Yeah it's mip map loss. Not sure what causes the door's jagged edges though.
0 NCarver Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Hello all, Thank you for your feedback. I have added this issue to the known issues list and linked this thread for others to see. Thanks for your support!
