BruceVC
Hi All I was given Bioshock as a gift on Steam. I downloaded it and noticed its in German I have logged call with Steam support on Tuesday and still had no response. This is longest time I have ever had to wait for them to get back to me. What else can I do to get an English version of Bioshock or should I just wait? Gorth
Maybe it was intentional, like a cruel prank... let's see his face when it starts Deutsch zu sprechen Sorry, no idea. Never needed Steam Support (knock on wood and all that). “He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. LadyCrimson
If the gifter actually bought a German language version of the game, I'm not sure there's much you can do about it, unless there's a setting or .ini type file meddling where you can switch the language around. If it's supposed to be an English language version, then ... well, that sounds like a pretty big glitch/snafu. “Things are as they are. I am hoping Steam support will just update my German version with an English one. I am not sure of the logistics but I can't imagine its that hard to do? I have had abysmal service on a bugged version of Fallout 3 recently. BUt that's partly because it's pretty likely it's Windows Live borking it. "It wasn't lies. Since some German versions are specially censored in accordance with local law that may be impossible.
Gorgon
By the way can anyone tell me why STEAM wants to re install every game on my E: disk about once every week. It downloads nothing but spends 10mins of furious HDD activity 'installing'. It never happens on my C: drive. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.
