January 17, 201313 yr This is something I haven't heard of before, but it seems pretty horrific. http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/01/10/uk-usa-foreclosures-zombies-idUKBRE9090GD20130110 The only hesitation I have from being completely outraged is that this is the only link I have read about it so far. Very unfortunate there doesn't seem to be much recourse.
January 17, 201313 yr sickening Remember: Argue the point, not the person. Remain polite and constructive. Friendly forums have friendly debate. There's no shame in being wrong. If you don't have something to add, don't post for the sake of it. And don't be afraid to post thoughts you are uncertain about, that's what discussion is for.---Pet threads, everyone has them. I love imagining Gods, Monsters, Factions and Weapons.
January 17, 201313 yr If a bank issues a formal notice of a planned foreclosure sale then they should be responsible.
January 17, 201313 yr Yep, that's what we get when money and policy makers sleep together - Fortune favors the bald.
January 17, 201313 yr If a bank issues a formal notice of a planned foreclosure sale then they should be responsible. Unless they can prove by certified mail signed by a responsible party of receipt of notice, I agree with you. IMO if the former home owner can prove they got the foreclosure notice, its up to the bank to prove the homeowner got the dismissal of foreclosure notice. I cannot - yet I must. How do you calculate that? At what point on the graph do "must" and "cannot" meet? Yet I must - but I cannot! ~ Ro-Man
January 19, 201313 yr Yep, that's what we get when money and policy makers sleep together - Policy makers have always been part of the moneyed class.
January 19, 201313 yr Ugh... "Well, overkill is my middle name. And my last name. And all of my other names as well!"
