Wathing Attack on Titan now. Not bad.

 

Has one or two things that bother me (magical titans and main character design .. and the super-ace trope)

while i refuse to watch 5-centimeters per second because it's an OVA, but i have seen the films made by the writer director of that OVA.

the most emotional anime i have ever seen is Clannad, i have never cried more while watching an anime than what i had with that show. the only other show/film that has done that to me was Air the movie. though the show had better animation oddly enough.

 

 

 

 

i can't wait to see this film, although the plot is a little creepy... though the CGI used in his films (CG of which he pioneered with 5 centimeters per-second) it has to do with how the lighting interacts with the 2D animation (the 2D is also animation is made on the computer i believe)

5cm hits you like an emotional freight train.

Definately one of the best animes I've seen.

Great rendition of My Favorite Things, nice soundtrack, good choice of setting, and likable characters. Need to tone down the intensive gay overtones though.

Also dear Trashman, no one likes the last two episodes of Evangelion. You watch the series up to that point and then instead of the last two episodes you watch the End of Evangelion movie.

I'm liking it. The battle scenes are very well done.

I'd be perfect if the main character didn't whine so much. There's also a bit too much exposition at time.

That saind, anyone watch Tytania? It's slow-paced, but good.

 

I've rewatched Cowboy Bebop - still the best anime I've seen.

Now I'm rewatching Evangelion - still don't like it.
